At Barra da Lagoa Beach, you and your family can enjoy lots of fun, adventure and leisure. Located on the east coast of Santa Catarina Island, this amazing beach is famous for its perfect waves for surfing and its natural beauty. On site, you can enjoy various outdoor activities, such as hiking and water sports, as well as sunbathing.
Rent equipment at the beach club and go surfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding or paddle boarding. Local staff is also available to organize paragliding adventures, horseback riding and kayaking, as well as boat and scuba diving excursions.
If you've never surfed, take some lessons from experienced instructors at the beach surf schools. With smaller waves and less powerful compared to other beaches in the region, Barra da Lagoa Beach is ideal for inexperienced surfers. The place is also perfect for families with young children.
While on site, enjoy a long walk along the white sands of the beach. Despite its 650 meters in length, the beach is linked to Praia de Moçambique. Much more extensive, it offers visitors about 7 kilometers of sand. For a slightly heavier walk, head for the green hills behind the beach. During the tour, you can admire spectacular views from the top. So be sure to take your camera with you.
