I can't say enough good about this rental. The host was great. The location is amazing, very secluded. Right on the snowmobile trail, close to Pictured Rocks and Munising. I have never stayed at a rental that was so well stocked, everything you could need. Kitchen had paper plates, ziplocks, spices, and so much more. Beds are very comfortable. The bar area downstairs is outstanding. Dish Network TVs (3), hi speed internet, and good cell phone service. Thank you!!!

Nice stay for a girls weekend

Beautiful location and so much space! My friends and I loved this getaway and how much there was at this space. It felt so comfortable and provided us a short drive to the beach!

The home is beautiful and as described. Wonderful communication with owner. Plenty of room for extended family. The weather wasn’t great so, instead, we had a wonderful time playing the games shared by the owner. Would definitely book again if in the area.

My family stayed in a few rental properties on our first trip to the UP and this one "won" the vacation. Great kitchen/amenities, and everything we needed.Very dark @ night, very quiet, very private, very responsive hosts. Would book again in heartbeat.Only negative was Canadian wildfire smoke moved in the same day we did, otherwise the star-gazing here would be phenomenal.

The accommodations were great! The house was really clean and well maintained. Plenty of room to do activities together like playing games and cooking and enjoying nights around the fire.

Awesome Location!

The house and property were great and being right off the trail was awesome for snowmobiling! Property manager was quick to respond, very nice and helpful!

Pictured Rocks with 2 families

Well appointed, clean, and great location for exploring the Pictured Rocks. Plenty of room for a group to spread out. Future downstairs bedroom will be a great addition!

Amazing stay!

The place was so spacious, and prepped with extra appliances and air mattress. The basement bar was our favorite hang out spot. The fire pit was perfect for stargazing. We will defiantly be back

A beautiful, modern home secluded in the woods for tons of privacy. Very near Pictured Rocks, easy access to hiking and all outdoors activities. Well-appointed, comfortable, clean.

Family adventures

This house was very nice and had everything we needed for our family of 10. It had a nice basement that was used for family fun. The upstairs living room was also big enough for a movie night for all of us. It was set up in a secluded section of woods, centrally located to several towns along the coast of Lake Superior. Our family was able to explore a lot of what the U.P. has to offer and still not be too far from the house. We did have a water issue after a big storm. Lisa was easy to connect with and had the issue resolved the next day. It did not dampen or trip at all. Overall, it was a very nice house in a convenient location. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

We had good communication with Lisa. She sends several things outside of VRBO for the rental from a rental agency and it does not show up through VRBO. Check your SPAM and keep your emails for coorespondence.It felt excessive when both parties are protected through VRBO with a fee.The place was exactly as described. It had all the things we needed for our group of 8 adults over 60. The location is very private with a wooded lot and perfectly located to all things Munising.Their mudroom area off the garage was fantastic! A great place for gear and coolers away from the main living area. Perfect for winter activities for sure.We would recommend this place to a larger group, but warn people of high cleaning fees, extra charges over 8 people and a pretty late check in and early checkout for a rental.

I want to clarify that you initially booked for a larger number of guests, so the additional charges were clear on your Vrbo receipt. You did reduce the number of guests and received a refund for that change. Regarding the check-in and check-out times, they are standard and quite accommodating for such a large property. Guests are made aware of these times prior to booking, as they are clearly stated on Vrbo​, Many larger homes often block off an entire day to ensure adequate cleaning. We strive to maintain a balance that allows for a thorough cleaning while also providing flexibility for our guests. I'm pleased that you were able to check in early on your arrival day. I also want to acknowledge the incident with the door frame. While I understand accidents can happen, I'm glad we could resolve this without additional charges. On a positive note, I was thrilled to receive your personal email mentioning how much you enjoyed using the bar area during your stay! It’s great to know that it added to your overall experience. Great location

Home was located about 10miles from Munising where all the pictured rock activities are located. We enjoyed being able to come home and use the grill for dinner after a busy day. Very clean and well equipped
