Exactly as posted and even better communication throughout the stay. Great choice for a cozy home base for the week and the sunsets off the lake were even better than sitting at Sand Point dealing with bugs. Worth staying at! Exceptional hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Pines in Christmas, MI! It was the perfect cozy overnight stop on our trip across the UP. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer but our itinerary didn’t allow it— but we’ll be sure to come back and book this place again! It was a great set up for our family and we particularly enjoyed the living area for late night conversations, coffee (provided by host!) and breakfast at the kitchen table, and the scenic lake views with true fall colors!

I met my husband Kevin on a "girls" snowmobile trip in February of 2011. I was visiting from Byron in the lower peninsula and he has lived in the Munising area for most of his life. We got to know each other and fell in love via technology (Facebook and phone calls/texting). We were married on Grand Island in July 2012. After living after apart for the first 11 years of our relationship, I was finally able to move up here in March 2022. We love living near all of our properties and being able to work together to give our guests the personal attention and service they deserve. We love sharing this beautiful area with all who come to visit!

We have this property because it was included in a package deal from the previous owner of the White Pine Lodge. We love having a cute, little cottage on the water. It is one of only 2 properties we have in our portfolio that have lake access, so we include a couple kayaks for guest use. We love being able to offer a heated garage for our winter enthusiasts as well as some beautiful sunsets all year long! While this property is not set up the way we would have preferred, we are trying to make the best of what we have to work with.

*Beautiful sunsets
*Heated garage for our winter sports enthusiasts
*Gas fireplace in living room
*4 season room facing the lake
*Paddle boat and row boat available for guest use
