Long weekend with mates

We had an amazing time in Porto. The accommodation was spotless and Ariana the host was beyond helpful! She gave us some recommendations for places to visit and eat etc and she checked in to make sure everything was ok. Tue accommodation was spacious and in a perfect position.

Localisation parfaite, maison haut de gamme

Nous avons adoré notre passage dans la maison. Elle est située dans une petite ruelle, accessible à pied seulement donc très peu bruyante. Dans un cartier tranquille, en face d'un parc et très proche de l'eau. Il y a de beau restaurants proches. La maison est fantastique, extrêmement confortable, entièrement rénovée. Ariana est toujours très disponible et a fait de bonnes suggestions de restaurants. Je recommande à tous.

We loved it!

Ariana's place was comfortable and well-appointed and Ariana was wonderful as a host. All of us agreed that the beds were comfortable and the upstairs living space was meticulously neat and had everything we needed. She answered all of our questions promptly, checked-in with us periodically to make sure that everything was going smoothly, and gave us wonderful dinner recommendations at local restaurants. We highly recommend Ariana and her place!

Great Place!

We really enjoyed our stay! It is a very spacious residence with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay for six people. Love the modern design elements complementing the older building style nicely. It was a great location with a short walk to the waterfront and with easy access to the historical part of the city. Ariana was an accommodating and gracious host providing lots of useful information about the area. There are restaurants, grocery store and coffee shop all within walking distance. Thanks Ariana for your kind hospitality!

At the mouth of the Douro

When I booked this home online, I hoped that the pictures accurately represented the accommodations. We were met by the owner who accurately described the home as her baby. It is furnished beautifully and was super clean. The pictures really does not do the space justice. We were overjoyed with our stay and the location. We walked to the ocean every day to watch the waves. The location is so close to a grocery store, a bakery and even a Michelin Star restaurant. We appreciated the promptness of the owner to all messages. If ever in Porto, stay here.

- LOCATION: You'll fall in love with this place, away from the crowds but not far from the Porto's city centre! The location can hardly be better as the Garden of Camellias is set in the charming and quiet residential neighbourhood of Foz. The beach and the river are within spitting distance (2 min. walking) and the historical city centre (just 15-20 min. away). Enjoy one of the great restaurants in the neighbourhood. Wander in the intricate cobblestone streets with small town flavour. Jog or bike along the scenic waterfront. Have a swim or head for a surfing adventure in the beach. Take a romantic stroll in the 19th century Passeio Alegre park. Visit an exhibition at the Museum of Serralves and explore its wonderful gardens...
- COMFORT & COSYNESS: only by securing my guests' comfort I can make sure that their stay as much agreeable as possible. Thus, not only the architecture and interior décor were designed to create a warm and cosy atmosphere, there was also a clear focus in logistical terms in order to achieve this goal (wide and comfy beds, 4 pillows per bed, there is an ensuite bathroom in each bedroom, hair dryer and free toiletries, etc).
