About this property

Chic Kihei Beach Retreat with Ocean Views across from Charley Young Beach

Our 2 bed, 2 bath unit has been remodeled, including a three zone mini-split A/C system, quartz counter tops, tile floors, open concept kitchen, and custom tiled showers. New stainless steel appliances, including full-size fridge, dishwasher & microwave, large capacity washer and dryer, as well as ceiling fans & light fixtures, art work, furniture, linens and kitchen wares have also been added.

We are located on the top floor of building two in the complex (quiet and away from the main street of South Kihei Road). There are views of the West Maui Mountains and distant blue ocean. The condo is on the cool side of the building so you will enjoy comfortable evenings as the trade winds gently blow through the unit. Ceiling and floor fans are also in each room.

The upstairs fully-enclosed master suite features a king bed with a cool gel memory foam mattress, 40" LED Smart TV, and an ensuite with a beautiful tiled shower. Shutters open to the vaulted living room below.

The main floor bedroom has two XL twin beds and the main floor bathroom has a full-size tiled shower with custom ceramic vessel sink and unique touches like tiled turtles in the shower.

Unlike many units in Maui Vista, the main floor was renovated to make an open concept kitchen to accommodate a full-size fridge and extra counter space. The living room has a sleeper sofa for additional guests and is lofted with a beautifully re-finished exposed wooden beam ceiling. Enjoy a 55" LED TV, Roku, DVD player, and phone with free North American calls on the main floor as well.

The unit is also family-friendly and has a Pack 'n Play crib, high chair, as well as kid-proof plates and glasses. Beach towels, chairs and umbrella are also in the unit for you to enjoy. Just bring your bathing suit!

The condo is also equipped with keyless entry and you will receive your own unique access code.

This is our home away from home and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do. It is our hope that you will be blessed with relaxation, restoration, inspiration and ALOHA AINA (love for the land) that is a treasure unique to the Hawaiian Islands.

The wife and I have been to Maui before but that was before kids. This time we brought our youngest (19 year old) with us. What a vacation! Credit goes to the wife for planning and scheduling all this fun and memories. We dove, swam, snorkled, hiked, drove, played tennis, luau'd, spelunked, and ate ourselves silly. This was one of the best vacations we have had. So much to do here and Maui Vista was central to it all. The booking was easy and the price was very reasonable. We would definately stay here again.

Fantastic stay!

My husband & 2 teenagers just returned from a. 2 week stay in this unit at Maui Vista (building 2). We had an absolutely fabulous time! This is the 5th time we’ve stayed at Maui Vista as we love the location due to it being a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Charley Young Beach. There are also great pubs, restaurants and grocery stores within a 15 minute walk. Kihei is also a fantastic location on the island being very central to everything. This unit was one of the best we’ve stayed in & as mentioned, we’ve stayed at Maui Vista 5 times! It is extremely well stocked with dishes, utensils, Ziploc bags, tinfoil, saran wrap, spices and condiments…. so it was very easy to cook. It was well stocked with extra bedding, sand toys, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach matts, coolers and beach towels for us to enjoy, along with cards, board, games, books, etc. The unit was very clean, and the split zone air conditioning unit was quiet and did a fantastic job of cooling down the unit! My husband actually raved about the AC! With 2 teenagers in the unit, the Wi-Fi needed to be good, and there were no complaints.. except that it didn’t work around the pool! The owners were very easy to communicate with. We had one small issue while we were there and it was immediately dealt with. We also forgot something in the unit and realized it when we got home. The owners are in the process of helping us get the item back. The only downside about the Maui Vista complex is that the windows are thin so you hear people talking outside in the hallway. A simple solution is to use white noise when sleeping…but our teenagers were able to sleep through without doing this. We weren’t affected in the upstairs bedroom. We would highly recommend this unit for the location, cleanliness, open floor plan, and how well stocked it is. Thank you Paula and Martin for a wonderful stay! We will be back again in the future!

Paradise, again

Super clean, everything you need for going to the beach and playing in the water to cooking a home cooked meal. Easy access to so many good beaches, restaurants, and the best shave ice. Rent your snorkel equipment at maui dive shop next to pizza madness and you'll get great, friendly service and good equipment, it's worth the little extra money. Can't wait to come back!!

Really enjoyed our stay in Kihei. The property worked well for us as two other families we knew stayed in the same complex. Very close walking distance to the beach. Would stay again if air conditioning could be installed upstairs. The master bedroom is upstairs and doesn’t have air conditioning but does have fans. A little warm for us. Finally, the elevators were out for maintenance for half the stay with 4 flights of stairs. It was really good exercise!! The hosts were very nice and checked in on everything during our trip. We enjoyed our week!

Not worth the prices charged

Condo needs repairs and upgrading to a little more modern times. Air conditioner sounded like a meat grinder, which was on a timer, so you would have to get up all night to reset it. No cupboard space for food. We cleaned out one drawer to make room for a couple bags of chips. Loft fav is on continuously, if you close the door and get up in the night and go to the bathroom, you are overcome by sewer gas. Definitely not pleasant. This degeneration of the condo has been going on for some time, as witnessed by the yellow scotch tape holding the plastic grill of the air conditioner. Many other problems with this unit, but suffice to say this was the worst condo we stayed in at Maui Vista over the years.

Lovely place with perfect location

Our family (two toddlers and four adults!) had a fabulous stay in this beautiful condo. The 3 minute walk to the beach was our favourite aspect, but we loved pretty much everything about the place - beach accessories, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds (except the pull out sofa bed...but we never expect much from those), laundry machines, playpen and booster seat. The hosts were friendly and accessible. We'd definitely return next time we are in Maui!

Great location and clean property. Five minute walk to a beautiful beach! Loved the cold air conditioning and elevator. Pool was never really busy and parking was great. Friendly security and quiet at night. Lots of toys for kids, great cable, internet service and appliances were fantastic.

We stayed in this condo for one week (4 adults and 1 baby), and it had everything we could think of, from beach chairs to kitchen needs. It was a nice, clean unit in a great location in Kihei. The condo has been nicely updated and the ceiling/floor fans provide enough breeze to keep you comfortable. We only used the air-conditioner once, on a very humid night. The washer and dryer are great to have, especially with a baby. Great newer appliances and the complex has clean and newer barbecues. Excellent communication with the owners too! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful condo fabulous location!

Our family loved staying at this condo in Kihei. The condo was fantastic, has everything you need. Our favorite were all of the beach supplies, from the ice chest and sun umbrella to the body boards! The location is amazing, we explored 4 different beaches some walking distance others less than a 10 minute drive. We snorkeled, saw turtles, swam, body boarded, hiked, surfed, like I said, great location for whatever you’re into!!! The food in Kihei is excellent. I highly recommend the food truck just around the corner from the condo. There are also several food trucks just down the road that we’re good and Fred’s has delicious calamari tacos! We would definitely come back again!

We grew up on the West Coast of Canada, so the ocean has always been a part of our lives. Maui captured our hearts on our first family trip more than a decade ago. The beautiful beaches, breathtaking sunsets, the kind Hawaiian hospitality and easy going pace are just some of the reasons we have continued to come back to the Island. We love Kihei because of its central location, sense of community and proximity to great beaches and restaurants.

Why they chose this property

Maui Vista is the perfect location for an active family. Even with young kids, shops and restaurants are an easy walk. There is a playground close by and an amazing beach (Charley Young) right across the street. The grounds are tropical and immaculately maintained. Amenities including 3 pools, 6 professional quality tennis courts, BBQ areas, elevators and an activities concierge. Its location in South Kihei provides easy access to all parts of the island for whatever adventures you have planned.

What makes this property unique

The unit has been completely remodelled. The upstairs bedroom suite was enclosed and the kitchen was opened up to take advantage of the view. Luxurious features such as quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and custom tile work were added. Our unit is breezy, quiet and comfortable with a wonderful distant ocean view.
