Ocean Sands Section E vacation rentals

Beautiful home! Very clean. Lots of steps so may not be suitable for injured or elderly persons. Walk to beach was a bit too much for us in the heat. No direct path or easy way to get there. May not be an issue to/for others. Pool was well maintained and used a lot! We had a water issue at the home and it was taken care of instantly. Very good response time and upkeep from the property management team. Very kind and helpful. Grocery store was right behind home which was amazing and convenient. All in all, a beautiful well maintained property and would choose this place over and over again if it was closer to the beach.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay! The kitchen was well stocked and the beach towels were a nice touch! The house was very clean and the location was perfect! We will definitely stay again!

We were very pleased with this property. We finally figured out the best bedroom/bathroom assignments and everyone was happy. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment. 2 refrigerators was excellent as we were eating in for all meals and there were 14 of us.

It was great to be across the street from the grocery store and some shopping and walking distance to the beach.

This house was perfect for a family of 6 adults and one kiddo. It is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach access. The house was spotless and confortable for everyone! There is a gas grill (propane provided) and we cooked red snapper, salmon, and shrimp from the local seafood market. The views from the top deck are perfect for watchng the sunrises and sunsets and, as the beach bum in the family, I loved every minute of it! The pictures represent everything perfectly. We will definitely book again if available.

This was our first-ever visit to OBX, and "Carolina Delight" was perfect in every way! The house really was just a 3-minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean, and a 5-minute walk to a huge grocery store (that had everything we could ever need!). The house itself was 5-star and was spotless upon arrival. We had 3 families and each had their own bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen was perfect, and the spacious upper level family room was super comfortable and had some ocean views. The pool and hot tub were both fabulous, and the wrap-around deck was wonderful. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We drove from Michigan, and this rental was worth the drive! It was dog-friendly which was a plus! Highly recommend this property. I would like to include photos if possible.

Absolutely loved it here. On most vacations you are ready to go home towards the end. Not on this one! We were so sad to leave and couldn't stop talking about how badly we didn't want to go. Everything was conveniently close with so much to do. Will certainly be back.

We really enjoyed our time in Corolla at Gone To Sea. Any property managed by a company means very few necessities (ie: dish soap, paper towel, etc) so plan on going to the store. We anticipated this so it wasn’t an issue. There was one roll of toilet paper on each bathroom, one roll of paper towel, a sponge and small dish soap and one packet of dishwasher cleaner. No laundry soap, no coffee filters, salt and pepper, etc. Not necessarily complaining, just want people to be aware what they’ll need to bring or buy. There were plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. This is not always true with management companies so we were happy about that. As far as the property, you can’t beat the location. The view was amazing, the porch was great every morning for coffee and sunrise, and there was plenty of room for our family. The entrance to the beach is mere feet away. We loved it. The hot tub was okay, not super hot (which is fine in the summer but we had a couple chilly days) and the hum from the hot tub is pretty loud in that bedroom it’s adjacent to. This was a minor annoyance. Bottom line is we would definitely rent here again, in a heartbeat!
