My family rented this property while in town for soccer beach tournament. Beautiful cozy house. We enjoyed it and would look in to it for our next stay.

Very happy
I stayed here with my sister and our 4 kids. The condo was really cute and clean. We enjoyed the balcony and watching the waves on the beach. The sunrise was beautiful as well. We will return.
Great value for the money. There was 6 of us and we all had room to move around, sleep, and just relax. The condo was clean, cozy and had a great view of the beach. Definitely will come again. :)
The property and room is older but kept clean. Nice to see some remodeling in the complex. No complaints! Thank you

Just fine
We spent 2 nights at the condo. The setup is nice for families with the bunk beds. The condo absolutely met our needs. It and the complex are a bit run down, but I certainly felt we got what we paid for. Close access to the bay is great. Biggest complaint is that the AC had a hard time keeping up. It didn’t seem able to make it below about 71. Otherwise, we were satisfied with our stay.

Our stay
Overall our stay was good. The room was a good temperature. The fridge didn’t work the entire time. Also, there are a lot of mirrors in the condo.. kinda creepy. The jellyfish were soo bad we couldn’t swim. The pool was great!

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience, Alyssa. We shared your feedback with the owner and they would like to clarify the following:
-We apologize for the issues you experienced with the refrigerator. We diligently tried to get a repair done for the unpredictable refrigerator outage prior to your arrival, however, the part needed was set to arrive after your stay. As we take pride in being transparent with our guests throughout the booking process we were sure to inform you ahead of time and did provide a cooler and ice chest to supplement the freezer, which was working
-We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors like the neighbors in the area are simply out of our control. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention
-Additionally, there is nothing we can do about the jellyfish in Corpus Christi Bay, we’re sorry this impacted your stay
We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thanks again, and we hope that you keep us in mind for your future travels!

It was fine for adults or with children over 5 years of age. There is no child proofing and we had 2 littles ages 3 and 10 mos. I liked the closeness to the cement sidewalk that goes past the Lexington. The beach was very very crowded.
When we show up had a couple issue in the condo. So we contact the owner he promptly got back a hold of use. Did all he could to fix the issue. When one issue could not be fix during are stay. The owner reimburse use some of cost. For inconvenience and was apologetic for the issue. Highly recommend this location and owner was easy to deal with.
Overall the stay was good. The furnishings were different than pictured but not bad and we didn't know the whole complex us under heavy construction. The work started with power tools right outside our bedroom at 7am and went until dark each day. Construction dust is everywhere. Pools were warm some days and cold others.
Beach location is great and there are close showers to clean up from the sand.

Good for adults, not small children
The condo was ok. This is not a good condo if you have children under the age of 5. It is not childproof and there are many corners that can hurt a small child if not careful. It is a good place if it's for adults. I liked that it was close to the beach and the sidewalk that was put in where you can walk to the Lexington and beyond. There is 24 hour security which is good. I did not feel unsafe ever while I was there.

Hi Karolyn, thanks for taking the time to review your stay. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:
We're glad to hear that you felt safe at our condo and that you enjoyed our fantastic location. It's always a pleasure to provide a great experience for our guests.
While our condo is not advertised as childproof, we do encourage all our guests, especially parents, to be vigilant and ensure the safety of their little ones during their stay just as they would anywhere else.
Once again, thank you for your review. Your input helps us make improvements and deliver even better stays for all our guests.

Place could use remodeling to update a little more. There was no extra blanket for the sofa for my son sleeping there. Mattress cover was stained pint was peeling on shower tub. Bunk beds had a flimsy mattress with egg crates to help firm it up. Couldn’t get the cable to work on the tv so we weren’t able to watch it.

Thank you for your review. This homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: "Hi Angelita, thank you so much for your comments. We desire nothing but the best experience for anyone staying at our property, so we appreciate knowing about any opportunity to improve. For the future, we will address the tub's finish, ensure an extra blanket is in the closet and put in a maintenance call with the condo complex to look at the cable TV. Also, we'll ask our team to have a look at mattress quality on the built-in child bunk beds, and we also performed some reinforcement on the bunk beds last week. Also, in the future, we'd love for you to inform us while on site of anything not as expected; we can normally address it quickly and create a better experience for you. That said, our goal is to anticipate the needs of our guests to the extent possible. Thanks again for your feedback. We hope you'll try our unit again, and please let us know if you have any special requests before your next visit. Kind regards, Jerry" Best, the Evolve Team

We got what we paid for, I guess.
It was cheap, but not even worth what we paid. The unit was dirty, small and extremely outdated. The tv in the bedroom was not working, paint is chipping, mirrors are dirty, beds are very old and uncomfortable. You can literally see black mold in the vents. Sand on the floor. The entire property is under renovation and the construction noise starts at 7:00 am and goes on the entire day. To get the the beach we had to go through different buildings because of the construction. None of it was communicated to us ahead of time. The pools are dirty and murky. I would say, pay a little more and stay somewhere else.
The owner was very nice and answered all my questions… and even bought more comfortable chairs while we were there! Sitting on the balcony in the morning with coffee looking out into the bay was so much fun and relaxing… we even saw dolphins one morning!
Very nice location and amenities. Room itself could a paint job and a little tender loving care but
Unit was clean but could definitely use some updating, paint and tender loving care.
Thanks for everything

It was great to be back!!
What a wonderful place to revisit from when I was 10-12 yrs old (I’m now almost 40)
Everything had been updated but still an amazing place to stay!! Right next to the Lexington and the Aquarium. Not to mention just a few steps away from the beach!! Just a great place to stay super easy check in and check out. Definitely enjoyed my experience there with my family. Highly recommend.

Been a long time
Thank believe the last time I was here I was 12-13 years old maybe younger, I’m now almost 40 and it was just as awesome as I remember. Taking my memories and making new ones with my kids!!!
Fantastic place and super close to all the cool stuff the area has to offer!!!
The pullout sofa was broken when we got there, we had to fix it so the kids could sleep on it and they complained it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The last night there they opted to make a pallet on the floor and said that was more comfortable then sleeping on the pullout. The bed in the bedroom was also extremely uncomfortable, it sages in the middle. The chairs on the balcony are also not comfortable.

Needs MAJOR renovation and maintenance, SMELLS BAD
Dirty linens (with hair, glitter, and fibers on them!), broken sofa sleeper(sharp metal parts!), torn & extremely OLD mattresses (no zippered liners!), stained mattresses [blood, liquid, etc.] & pillows (some without liners!), main-room TV broken, master-bed TV audio sometimes didn't work, and the whole place stinks like a weird menthol scent.
Bathroom was decent--but a bit rusty. Kitchen dishes were dirty with food crusted on some of them, coffee expired months ago. Couches and seat cushions were stained and dirty. Cleaning closet with supplies was dirty and disorganized. Lightbulbs were burnt out in many fixtures. Outdoor entry lockbox was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to open to access key--oh-- and KEY didn't even work to open the door! Front desk key didn't work either! Front desk had to give us a digital code to enter.
Patio area feels very unstable and not safe to walk on.
Internet WIFI-password was nowhere clearly posted in the room like other places--I could only find it after logging into my account with the agency connected to the rental and then search through my rental agreement until I found the WIFI password buried deeply within the fine print.
Surrounding facilities: fitness center closed for renovations, pools were filthy, and washers were out-of-order.
***Emailed the Primary Owner days before with a simple question-- NO response! Called the primary owner the moment we arrived and had trouble accessing entry--his voicemail box was FULL so I couldn't even leave a message! I didn't even bother calling the secondary owner after that! Secondary owner finally called back TWO DAYS LATER after we'd already given up on the place and got a hotel! He made excuses and apologies but it was too late!!***
On a positive note--the fridge and microwave were very clean.
The door has a lock that works from the inside. The thermostat seems new and worked fine. The internet speed was fantastic. It was very close to the beach. Parking was plentiful. Ira, at the front desk, was the most helpful person on-site.
