Great Family-Friendly Home on Lake Michigan: Property ID#329573 - 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 12. Sleeping Arrangements: Three upstairs bedrooms sleep six or seven, while a downstairs bunkroom sleeps five. First upstairs bedroom has a King bed with an office nook in case you can’t get completely away form it all. Second upstairs bedroom has a Queen, and like the first bedroom, access to the deck overlooking Lake Michigan. The third upstairs bedroom also has a Queen bed, but also a bonus twin and opens out to a small, quiet patio. The downstairs bunkroom has a full-size lower bunk and three twins. Bonus trundle bed in the downstairs living area.


You'll fall in love with the Lake Michigan sunset on your first night! This comfortable ranch style home is on a medium bluff with an ocean-like view of Lake Michigan. Ideally set up for young families where adults can sleep in the main-level bedrooms and kids will have their own living and sleeping areas downstairs. The home is very accessible with bedrooms, a full bathroom, living/dining/kitchen and large back deck right on the main level with no stairs.

There are a number of fantastic outdoor features as well. You'll enjoy the large back yard, fire pit and observation deck overlooking Lake Michigan. There is also a great patio space just off the lower level with ample outdoor seating.

AMENITIES INCLUDE: central air, washer and dryer, gas grill, gas fireplace, huge outdoor deck, fire pit. WIFI with smart TV's to stream is included, but no cable. Large-screen TVs in both upstairs and downstairs living areas.

The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, etc. dishwasher, and a standard drip coffee maker and stove-top espresso pot are available for guest use. Additional kitchen items include microwave and toaster. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies, and soaps (not personal soaps), and a starter set of paper products.

LOCATION: The home is right on Lake Michigan's beautiful shoreline, right next to the Orchard Beach State Park. Sandy beaches are a short drive away; Bar Lake access is just 1.5 miles up the road and the popular Manistee City beach at 5th Avenue is about 2.5 miles away. Downtown Manistee is less than 2.5 miles. Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City are about an hour drive North.

Check in time is after 4:00PM and check out time is before 10:00AM. Please note that we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures from May – September. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay.

ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests.

DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely.

Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy.
