The Cottonwood Cabin was magical!

Our stay at the cottonwood cabin was absolutely amazing! The property is so nice and so clean the cabin is really pretty and the yard was perfect for my dogs. The host Ry was also very nice and prompt to respond for all of our questions and concerns. We have been staying at Vrbo properties since Abe’s shutdown and this is by far the best we have ever stayed at! We will be back next year for more!

Always fun at the Cottonwood Cabin

The cabin is always clean and inviting. Missed seeing Frank on this trip. We'll have to come back again!Our family had a wonderful visit and of course, lots of fun on the lake.

Lots of things to do

Very comfortable. Many things to do in beautiful scenery. Drove our Jeep, so did Jeep trails in the area, plus fishing. Frank, the host’s dad, went above and beyond with helpful information. So enjoyed meeting him.

The cabin was perfect for our family! We fished the beautiful San Juan River right off the backyard, enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the porch, and the views of the cliffs by the house were gorgeous. The location was perfect! We enjoyed Navajo Lake and hiking at Cutter Dam which were super close. It was also a quick drive to Durango, CO, and to see the Aztec Ruins. Such a beautiful location and property! Frank was also amazing!! He gave us lots of ideas of what to do, and was so great with our kids. We were sad to leave!

Great home, with fantastic host support

We had a great stay at Cottonwood cabin. The home was very clean when we arrived, and more than adequately equipped in the kitchen. The fenced in yard was exactly what we were looking for since we brought our pup Mojo. Our son enjoyed fly fishing on the San Juan from the property, and we made several outings on Navajo Lake with our fishing boat. Native American heritage abounds in the area, and neighbor Frank was absolutely our goto resource for everything we were thinking about doing. A great stay!

Fabulous!

We stayed in Blanco for 6 days fishing the San Juan River. The cabin was perfect for us - very spacious and had everything we needed! Close to the river for fishing and the fishing was spectacular! Would love to visit again.

Annual Fishing Trip

Cottonwood Cabin is an awesome place to stay in the San Juan area. Comfortable, easy access to the surrounding area. Next time we'll have to try fishing in the backyard. Will be staying in the future.

Wonderful, well-stocked, comfortable cabin

We loved staying at Cottonwood cabin! There is every amenity you could wish for from a fully-stocked kitchen to plenty of towels, bedding and blankets. The hot tub was sparkling clean and wonderful for morning and evening soaks. The teen girls loved having the loft with a full bathroom all to themselves. My husband as able to walk through the backyard to the river and fish. Also, the neighbor Frank and his dog Sophie were very friendly. We would definitely come back and stay!

Great Weekend at the Lake

Had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean. It was nice to have both indoor and outside games to play with the family. The backyard was beautiful with the grass and trees. Being right on the river was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Family Place

We stayed with our son and his family for 3 nights. It was perfect for us. Our grandchildren loved having the upstairs to themselves. The kitchen was well equipped with even a rice cooker and Air Fryer ( not on website). Checkin was flawless and we got immediate response when we reached out to Ry. We loved watching the bats at dusk and not ONE mosquito!! Beds were very comfortable. Our grandaughters loved Frank next door. Next family get together we are hoping to rent again. Everything was fantastic! Great location and beautiful home! The neighbor Frank is very helpful and wonderful to talk to, the hot tub was so relaxing, and the winery down the road is awesome as well.

Fantastic place!

We came to fish the lower San Juan and wanted a place nicer than what’s available in Navaho Damn. This place is more than expected. Well maintained, clean, large, comfortable beds and a super nice hot tub! Oh ya, great view of the bluffs and river. Fishing was lights out on the Quality waters and if you want fishing in front of the house, it’s there. Owners father lives next door and was very friendly and helpful.

WOW!!

Needed a break from the hustle a bustle of life took the family for a weekend of relaxation and that’s exactly what we got. Very nice home, fishing, people your deal with and as an added bonus Frank was a delight a true blessing of a man took time to help get us on the fish and directions for any questions we had just a good human being. Rained all weekend and we still had the time of our lives fantastic memories. We will definitely be back.

This property is well kept and we had a great stay We wereel excited to use the hot tub but didnt, there is an additional charge to use it and you must give at least 12 hours notice. We didnt otice this before our stay. Othet than that i would recommend this property

Spacious river cabin

This is place is one to keep coming back to - do not pass this up! Ample space to spend quality time with a family or two with plenty of cooking supplies and counter top appliances to stay for longer than a week. Large yard space great for kiddos running around and the river is just out the back gate. Hottub is a great perk with access through the back screened porche or a bedroom. Solid stove to burn wood and create a great evening ambiance. Easy access and a short 15 minute drive to quality waters.
