We had an amazing week in Tammy's spacious home overlooking cute palm-tree lined Bolongo Bay. We took full advantage of the huge shaded back patio with much comfortable seating for breakfast, drinks by the pool, and evening star-gazing, as well as a BBQ dinner. We truly appreciated the 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs and the cooler on wheels for our beach and snorkeling excursions. Rosie, the dog, became part of our family as she came over every day for patio-sitting, and she followed us on a long hilly walk on the hill. The sweetest part was when she chased our car all the way to the bottom by the main road as we were leaving to go home. We had to drive her back up and put her safely in the courtyard. Recommended excursions:*night glow kayaking at the Westin*drive up to Mountain Top for the amazing view over Magen's Bay and a darn good banana daiquiri. Then go to Fish Bar nearby for dinner - no reservations, so go early to eat the fish they caught THAT day before it is all gone*ferry trip to St John - go early. We found the beaches to be hard to park at on St John, but if you keep driving away from the ferry dock, you'll eventually find one to stop at. Lunch high up at the Windmill Bar had great views. *We made 3 visits to Iggie's for lunch and many great cocktails ON the Bolongo Bay beach. We also went one evening for the daily live music. *Virgilio's, The Longboard, & Caribbean Fish Market were all great restaurantsThank you, Tammy. You were very helpful!
