Le plan d'étage ouvert et les vues sur l'eau dans le salon principal créent un espace aéré parfait pour la détente.
L'élégante cuisine entièrement équipée comprend des appareils en acier inoxydable, un réfrigérateur à vin et de grandes armoires pour contenir tous vos besoins de cuisson. Procurez-vous des fruits de mer frais dans l'une des pêcheries locales et préparez un festin décadent. Savourez chaque bouchée de votre repas à la table à manger en verre pour 6 personnes ou à la table pour 4 personnes sur le pont.

Relaxing Week at the Shore

We very much enjoyed our week at this house. It was well stocked with everything we needed and had a beautiful outdoor deck and patio to watch the boats go through the canal. We all agreed watching the boats on the canal was more enjoyable than sitting on the beach. The house was a short drive to the beach (5-10 minutes) and plenty of restaurants and shops.

Just as great the second time around!

We stayed here 2 years ago and loved the house and location. I’m happy to say that the house remains in great shape and is so easy to use. The variety of indoor and outdoor spaces from which to enjoy the canal make this a very special and fun place to stay. Keep up the good work. It’s a wonderful place.

Perfect place to quarantine.

The house is perfect. It was so comfortable for us to quarantine before taking my daughter to college. Michele is a great host! Responded quickly to all my many questions. Loved watching the boats each day on the canal.

Do not stay here, horrible host and misleading description.

We stayed at this house for one month, there are interior cameras that point to the bedrooms upstairs and the front door it is a complete invasion of the guesses privacy. The house is not ideal for renting at all there is clutter everywhere and no closets to hang any clothes. She also locked the garage as well the description of the house is also misleading there are only 2 bedrooms and a loft downstairs, as well she does not mention anything about the house having interior cameras constantly monitoring what is going on. As well every piece of furniture has a sheet over it with a plastic rubber liner that is very uncomfortable. Also, the grill does not work properly and was not cleaned prior to our arrival the tools to clean the grill were left outside and completely rusted and disgusting keep in mind this was a summer getaway without a grill LOL. The wine cooler also did not work/was not plugged in. Also no towels were provided we had to go out and buy our own. As well the homeowner also manipulated the A/C at night raising it to 85 degrees. The only pro to this house is being on the canal and watching the boats pass and the outdoor setting and entertainment. We were very respectful guests and kept the house in good condition, every time I had to contact the home owner she was in a miserable mood and always had an attitude she was not pleasant to deal with at all! Lucky we took the insurance policy because she try to change us for damages she claimed we did to her property, which we would of had to pay out of pocket. One of the damages was for removing the sheet off one couch upstairs stating that "it needs to be cleaned because the people's body oils were saturated into the couch." Keep in mind she had an unprofessional bed sheet cover that had lint all over the sheet and was an older couch. Beware the neighbors do not like the homeowner as we tried to be friendly with them but seems like there were altercations in the past. Now you thought this could not get any worse it does, after leaving the home the homeowner harassed me via text message, she did not choose to go through VRBO and reached out to me directly. I am running out of space here but I would have liked to include the disturbing message she left.

I’m sorry that you were not happy with your stay. There is so many petty details I will not elaborate on. I will touch on however the falsifications you made on this property. For you to lie and state that there were cameras in the direct view of the bedrooms is a complete fabrication. If you felt there were cameras facing these bedrooms I wish you would of also provided photos and evidence of this. There are however cameras outside the property. Your family climbed up and screwed the cameras around so that they were inoperable. I contacted you when you left to ask you how you screwed the cameras around so I did not have to call a company to come out and fix them. Which I had to hence why I charged the guest!! I have rented my home for many many years. I have always had 5 star reviews. This is a home. Since you do not rent on these sites often ( states guest only rented one time) you might not be aware that you are renting an owners home when they are away. Each room had a closet. The only closet you weren’t allowed to get into was the master closet and the garage. The master bedroom had hooks on the back doors as well as 3 empty dresser drawers. The couches are white and have professional slip covers over the furniture to protect them. You took the slip covers off and stained the couch with your oils. The grill states it’s the guests responsibility to clean the grill. It was not filthy because I was the last one in the home before you arrived. You left the gas on the grill the entire week without shutting it off and went through an entire tank. Not just costly but Very dangerous. Oh did I mention that we provide the propane? Towels are provided in each room. As well as beach towels, sheets and pillows. Most shore homes do not even provide any of these amenities to their guests. My neighbors and I have always respected one another we just wish that guests would have the same respect when they rent my home and maintain their peace and privacy.

We loved this home!

We were so in love with this house - it is decorated beautifully and the deck on the canal was amazing. The location was very convenient and the town of Point Pleasant is so nice. We will definitely come back and stay here again in the future. Thank you Michelle for providing a beautiful, cozy, home to rent.

Beautiful relaxing house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is gorgeous, extremely clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked. There is a downstairs porch with rockers and an upstairs balcony with chaise lounges. Although you cannot access the water, you can hear it and watch boats travel by. The beds were extremely comfortable (although we didn’t use the Murphy bed so I cannot say). The landscaping Is breathtaking. Washer and dryer (with detergent) were helpful. Also, beach towels were available which was a huge help as we flew from TX and couldn’t bring our own. The view from the kitchen and dining area is spectacular. We even enjoyed the gas fireplace one “chilly” evening (we’re Texans so anything below 70 is cold!). Loved looking at the historical pictures on the hallway wall. We spent one day in NYC (less than 2 hour drive), one day at Six flags (we just had to ride the world’s tallest coaster), and a day on the Pt Pleasant boardwalk and beach. A beautiful house in a wonderful location. Highly recommend.

Beautiful & relaxing

The house is luxurious and beautiful, and the canal-side location is spectacular. The variety of boats going by was constantly entertaining and fun. The location is ideal near great restaurants and the beach. I would love to visit again, hopefully soon.

This house was beyond expectation and even more beautiful than the photos. The location on the canal was absolutely phenomenal. Truly special experience to watch all the boats go by. Communication with the owner was also outstanding. Highly highly recommend.

Relaxing Getaway

This is a beautiful and welcoming home that is well-appointed and nicely decorated. We absolutely loved the outdoor areas and watching the boats go by. Highly recommend!

Holiday Retreat

This was the perfect home to spend the holiday with our daughter who lives in Manhattan. It’s easily accessible from Newark and has a train nearby. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed with a well stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed the view of the water and the proximity to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend this home.

Lovely home with a relaxing deck

From the moment we booked this house as a relaxing getaway from the city, Michele was responsive and helpful for whatever we needed. The house is exactly as pictured, with one exception -- the deck might be even better than you imagine. It's also quiet and secluded enough that you can be in your own zone, and they have every appliance you need to make your stay comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are grateful to Michele for allowing us to rent their home.

Best Vacation Home

The perfect getaway! The interior as well as exterior of the home was perfect in every way. The view of the boats going by from both inside and outside were absolutely incredible! The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything anyone could want. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return!
