We had a great time, house was perfect. Pictures don’t do it justice, this place is huge, lots of room for everyone! Bedrooms are all in their own areas so lots of privacy, great layout for sharing with others. Great communication too. Thanks!
Nice cabin tucked way back at the end of the road. Quiet and beautiful views. House was big and felt like home when you walked in. Great place to stay.

We had a nice stay at this cabin over New Years. It was clean and well kept. We skied at Giants Ridge 2 days while there. Kim was very responsive, we would stay here again!
Overall the house met our needs. The kitchen and laundry had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Quick response with our one question. Since there was just 2 of us, we did not use the lower level.

Well appointed and beautiful home, very comfortable. Especially loved the separate game room that gave the kids their own space. Close to down hill and cross country skiing. Would love to visit again in the summer.
Loved staying at this house that has so much room and a bathroom/shower for everyone! Loved the location, scenery and the large size of the house. Enjoyed the screened in porch especially and playing pool with our teenager. This house has it all!

Hi Amy,
Thank you for the excellent rating and review!
Property was very clean and beautiful. One drawer in kitchen had bad handle and the beds weren't great for old people. But very clean with plenty of space to move around.

May Golf Trip
Five friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Pine Martin Drive. We played golf and relaxed in these excellent accommodations. We’ll definitely be back. Check in was easy. We only wished the weather would have cooperated better.
Very spacious, well decorated and functional home. Carpeting needs some attention. Bathroom toiletries were lacking. Really liked game room in basement even if dart board wouldn’t stay open. Overall would definitely stay here again.

Guys Golf weekend
The property was nice overall. The backyard was underwhelming with wood chips in place of grass, and the bugs at night were awful, potentially the worst I have ever experienced. The patio and back deck were great for hanging out otherwise.
The house accommodations were perfect for our group of three couples. The layout of the house suited us very well. The house is well appointed with dishware pans and essentials. The cleanliness of the house, especially the downstairs area needs attention, dusty, and lots of cobwebs. The game room was great. We played electronic darts every night, we did purchase tips and feathers. The sunroom/outdoor area all met expectations. we were able to park our vehicles in the garage. lots of great golf courses and biking/walking trails nearby

Great place but cold
Overall a fantastic place!! The biggest problem was the heating system. Yes, it was cold at night (-34) but the thermostat kept turning the heat down to 62 degrees. I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it up each night. Also the basement was always freezing, thankfully we did not have people staying down there. With that being said I think that could be easily fixed with different automatic thermostat settings and we would definitely stay there again.

From the owner: "Thank you for your review, Julie! We hope you visit again."
Spacious, very well furnished, extra blankets & pillows in closets, bathrooms in each bedroom (plus a 5th in mudroom), bathroom closets stocked with extra towels, excellent water pressure, parking spaces in garage, plenty of closet space, two fireplaces upstairs, one fireplace downstairs, kitchen fully stocked, easily controlled digital thermostat, lights on timer provide excellent security, 3 miles walk to the Hill (about on hour)
OTHER NOTES: the key pad for garage may need a new battery (or something) - it failed on a number of occasions, nice dart board but darts definitely need to be replaced, a couple wireless Access Points would be a good addition in the home, and TV's may need to by upgraded soon (little bigger would be nice).
This is the second time at this home, and we'll plan another trip next year.
Very nice size cabin with lots room to spread out. Cabin was clean and there was great communication by the management company.
Our stay was in the winter and only complaint was how cold the house was. We couldn’t get the indoor temp above 64 degrees upstairs and it was even colder downstairs (too cold for the downstairs bedrooms to be slept in). Also, the downstairs gas fireplace was out of order. It was a cold weekend but not out of the ordinary for winter in Biwabik. Hopefully the heat issue can be repaired for future renters. Other than the heat issue we enjoy the property.

Great stay!
Our family stayed here to go skiing. It is a great property and very close to the slopes. We highly recommend it!
Having stayed in Giants Ridge Resort multiple times...This property is an upgrade from the villas across the lake and perfect location for a ski weekend. The management was very helpful and communicative. The layout allows for guests to spend time in their own spaces which is nice for a long weekend...you will not feel you are together ALL the time or encroaching on other's space. Ample parking including 2 indoor garage spots. Kitchen is great. Here are my suggestions to improve: Provide guests with a property binder that explains how to operate the fireplaces / televisions / ice maker / dart board / grill / wiFi or any other things you are offering. This is pretty standard for a rental and saves people aggravation of trying to figure out those details. The auto-fill water on the refrigerator / ice machine is one feature that needed trial and error. Hairdryers in the bathrooms are pretty standard offerings in properties and there were none. It's also nice to have a reference binder that lists local attractions; restaurants & information on the area. There is a fantastic restaurant in Gilbert, MN called The Whistling Bird (Carribean food) that is rather famous locally, for instance. Reservations required and worth the quick drive. Overall I would recommend this property and it would be a 5+ star with a few minor tweeks.
We enjoyed our short stay in this beautiful home. So much room for our group of 5. It had quality furnishings and super comfortable beds. The screened porch is lovely but could use an update in furniture. Nearby golfing was good. Location was very quiet and peaceful.
Stayed at this awesome retreat with friends for golf weekend at Giants Ridge. Excellent house for up to 4 couples, each with your own bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of space and beautiful secluded setting. Amenities like the pool table and outdoor fire pit were great. Very clean and updated. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking!!
The house was as shown in the pictures, possibly better. There was plenty of space for 7 adults. Everything was clean and well cared for. The only down side to the house was the 20 minute drive down a dead-end road but it gives you absolute privacy in a beautiful setting. If we return to the area we will rent this house again.
