Back at the house, the hardest decision is how to unwind. With two spacious living areas—each featuring large smart TVs—there’s room for everyone to relax their own way. Settle in for a movie night with Netflix, Apple TV, Binge or Stan, while the kids retreat to their own space to enjoy the PlayStation 4 Pro.

For something a little different, the light-filled family room also features a near-new Yamaha piano—perfect for those who like to add a musical touch to their holiday. Whatever the season, the house is designed for effortless comfort.

In summer, enjoy ducted air conditioning throughout, or slide open the glass doors and let the refreshing afternoon sea breezes drift through the home.

In winter, pour a glass of red and settle in beside the beautiful gas fireplace in the living room. Underfloor heating and ducted climate control keep the entire house warm and cosy, while the dedicated wine fridge ensures your favourite drop is always at the perfect temperature.

A beautiful new home that the owners have spent the time and money to set up to make a holiday so relaxing. The house is equipped with everything a family needs to make for a great holiday . We especially enjoyed siting outside for our meals, the BBQ and kitchen when needed, the view is brilliant. We will be back!!

Wonderful stay at Malula Bay

The house was outstanding with well appointed furniture and very comfortable beds. The pantry was also well stacked with condiments and sources, which was a pleasant surprise. Communication with Tony (property manager) was a breeze. We had our small dogs with us, which took the stress and expense of leaving them behind in a dog retreat. Well worth the money and the drive to the Bay and we are planning our next holiday. We recommend this house to anyone if you want a relaxing and stress free holiday at Malula Bay, NSW. Beautiful home with an outstanding view of the ocean

We had a wonderful stay. The property is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. The view is incredible and we spent a lot of time admiring it and swimming in the bay that’s a very quick walk via a track from the back gate. It was an incredibly relaxing stay and the hosts were flexible and accommodating. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!

Amazing property in a fab location

The house was incredible and had everything & more that we could possibly need. The dog flap was super handy for little trips outside to say hi to the lovely quiet Labrador next door! Super quiet location away from any noise. Very peaceful and relaxing sitting outside on the deck. We will certainly return again. Thank you Tony for being a great host.

Luxury slice of paradise

We had a wonderful stay, all the luxuries, amenities and the most amazing view. Waking up with the sunrise for a short walk South along the coastal path for a swim. Then breakfast another short walk North at the nearby Cafe, we enjoyed the afternoon with BBQ’s enjoying the view, and then a final swim before relaxing in front of the fire watching a movie. Wake up and repeat with perhaps a bike ride instead of a walk or lunch at Rivers Restaurant instead of a BBQ, or sit on the deck and fly your drone over the bay. The options are endless and we shall be back to explore them all. Thank you for sharing your home Tony and Helena it is spectacular. Best way to shake if the lockdown fog!

Relaxing birthday break

We all had an amazing stay. The house and facilities are 5 stars. Spacious and luxurious, it was just the place to spend my 50th birthday with family. Although the 3 big dogs next door were a bit off-putting at first, they settled pretty quickly. It just meant I didn't let our small dog out unless she was on a lead. We will definitely be back and have recommended the property to friends and family. Thank you for an amazing week.

We had a wonderful 10 night stay. The home is beautiful and spacious. The furnishings and wifi was excellent as were all the appliances in the home. The kitchen was well stocked with storage containers and all the utensils you could need. Beds and lounges were very comfortable and the overall experience at the property was exceptional.

Great House with Awesome Views

Great house with wonderful quality inclusions including dream kitchen, deluxe bathrooms and wonderful outdoor entertaining area. We loved our week away and were sad to leave as was out dog Thomas who thought he ruled the world while overlooking the bay from the backyard while he chomped on a bone.

We chose Malua Bay because it captures everything we love about the NSW South Coast—natural beauty, a relaxed pace, and a genuine sense of escape without losing the comforts that make a stay easy and enjoyable.

Malua Bay is one of those rare coastal pockets that still feels unspoilt. The beach itself is the centrepiece: a wide sweep of golden sand framed by rocky headlands, with clear, rolling waves on one side and calmer, more protected waters on the other. It’s the kind of place where mornings begin with a quiet walk along the shoreline, coffee in hand, and end with salt in your hair after an afternoon swim. Whether you’re travelling with young children, keen surfers, or simply want to float and unwind, the bay offers something for everyone.

What drew us here most was the balance. It’s peaceful—never crowded or overdeveloped—but still close to everything you might need. A short drive takes you to nearby villages and larger centres, yet when you return, the noise fades and the rhythm slows. Even in peak season, there’s a sense of space: room to breathe, to think, and to properly switch off.

The surrounding landscape is just as special. Native bushland meets the sea, and it’s not unusual to spot kangaroos grazing nearby or hear the call of birdlife in the morning. During the cooler months, you might even catch a glimpse of whales migrating along the coastline—a reminder of just how connected this place is to nature.

We chose this area because it invites you to slow down.
