Welcome to Casa Del Oro! Your secluded, quiet sunny Sonoran Desert Oasis awaits! This home is PERFECT for one to two couples, boasting 2 master suites with a split floor plan for your privacy & enjoyment. There is an additional room set up as an office space with books, desk & wireless printer with an option to pull down the queen wall bed for an additional guest.
This unique, desert home is located between Tucson and Oro Valley on over one acre, with an excellent blend of authentic southwest charm with the modern amenities we all love & appreciate. This home gives you private luxury, yet quick access to all Tucson has to offer. The home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac for a quiet, private getaway with RV parking and electrical hookups. This fully fenced backyard is your own private paradise with a private Swim Spa pool. You can take a refreshing dip in this 90 degree pool, relax, turn on the massage jets or turn on the two River Jets and swim, walk or jog in place against the current for a great work out! Adjustable for all levels of work outs. Or if you like hot, jump into the Hot Tub for a soak or massage. All this with your choices in chairs, lounges, along with an umbrella or full sun for year around enjoyment! Turn on the gas grill for BBQing, watch the birds and have dinner on the covered patio to enjoy the mountains change colors throughout the day and evening.
Inside, you will find the home is fully equipped to be your home away from home! You can enjoy the unobstructed views from the kitchen, dining room and mountain view master suite. You will also find wireless Internet service, Samsung Smart TVs throughout, a stereo in the living room, and picture windows overlooking the Catalina Mountains. We provide free access to YouTube TV to watch live TV, news, sports & more. You are also welcome to sign into your own accounts of Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Prime, etc with your log in information.
This kitchen is stocked with cookware & bake ware, utensils, indoor & outdoor dishes, and various small appliances for your convenience. Not to mention, choices in your coffee preferences - both Keurig & traditional drip coffee pot. More conveniences include indoor laundry, an oversized two car garage with a workbench and gardening – but only if you want to.
There are endless activities just minutes away whether you enjoy the outdoors and want to walk, hike or cycle, or if you prefer shopping, & dining in restaurants they are just around the corner!
No matter what reason you want to visit, you will love our home, the great location and all of the amazing amenities!

Ideal for: insurance claim housing, relocations, travel nurses, Tucson Gem & Mineral Show, and extended work assignments.

Under rules: We ask that the Swim Spa and Hot Tub covers stay on the tubs when they are not in use, and all of the latches hooked each time to keep the pools clean for you, keep the electric bill reasonable and keep the covers in good shape as well keep the covers from blowing off.

The house had everything you could need or want. A nice safe, quiet neighborhood with many shops, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. The host checked in regularly to make sure our stay was wonderful.

Wonderful stay!

This was our second stay and we enjoyed it even more! We spent a lot of time in the back yard with its gorgeous mountain view, hot tub, and swim spa. Watching the birds visit the feeders and the sunset on the mountain was a nightly ritual. The bed and all the furniture were very comfortable and the second suite was great when our daughter occasionally visited. The location is great with easy access to almost everything. We hope to return often if possible!

Four months! Great Place with everything I needed!

So comfortable! Amazing amenities; the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals for our Family visits from my kids, friends and siblings. The swim spa is great for exercising and the hot tub is great for watching the mountain change colors during the sunset!

Beautiful home with Mountain View’s

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The backyard is very spacious with a pool and hot tub. The Mountain View’s were beautiful especially during sunsets. The neighbors were nice also. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family visiting Tucson. One of the best places we’ve stayed in!

Awesome as usual! We return every year!

Loved the new hot tub, swim spa and outside deck. Had a small birthday party and Christmas gathering and the outside seating was so nice and convenient, not to mention the beautiful view. I never want for anything in the kitchen! Amenities all through the house are unbeatable at other VRBOs we have gone too!

Amazingly Wonderful!

The house is gorgeous. It truly does have everything needed for the stay. Great view that changes as the sun and moon moves! If you make hummingbird feed and buy bird food, you'll enjoy the birds playing even if you don't like them! Don't forget firewood for the fire pit! It feels like you aren't even in town, it's so quiet and peaceful in the backyard!. The outdoor tubs are wonderful, especially since they are both heated! We are ready for another stay at this place!

Perfect place to experience Tucson for the month

Having lived in Phoenix for many years, surprisingly we had not spent much time in Tucson. This place offered the perfect opportunity to change that. Fully stocked with whatever you need and a large backyard with room enough for our dogs allowed us to feel like we were in our own home. Propery management was great the few times we needed them. But the most appealing aspect of the place is its location. While it's a little bit of a drive to downtown Tucson, great stores and restaurants are nearby. And Catalina State Park with its amazing hiking trails are a quick drive. We would definitely recommend this place and hopefully will have the opportunity to return soon.

Didn’t have access to major amenities that we paid for.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 months. We booked this property specifically because we were excited about the pool and hot tub. When we arrived, the pool and hot tub were in disrepair and unusable and remained that way for the majority of our 8 week stay. The property management company made no effort to make things right with us. When I expressed my disappointment at the end of our stay they responded that because there are sometimes only a few days between bookings they don’t have enough time to do repairs. That would be a reasonable explanation if it had taken them a few days to do the repairs—not 5+ WEEKS. So it’s luck of the draw here whether you’ll actually have access to amenities for which you pay.

You will Love this Place! Upgrades just occurred!

Hello, My name is LuAnne & I am one of the owners of Casita Del Oro. We are so grateful to those of you who have come to stay, both thru VRBO and by word of mouth of our happy guests! We take your comments seriously & I am pleased to tell you that our back yard has been upgraded with a brand-new Swim Spa Pool and Hot Tub as well as a new patio/deck for your enjoyment! Please see the pictures and descriptions. We live here twice a year for 4-8 weeks and we love it! And hope you will too! Our first guests did! This what they had to say: May 10, 2023 M & K: “Our days in Tucson were idyllic. The cacti were in bloom and the weather was perfect. The house was extremely quiet, beautifully decorated, and well-appointed. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, and the dining areas were lovely. We spent most of our time on the shaded porch area, watching the birds and relaxing in the cool breeze. The house is immaculately clean and so peaceful. The new spa/pool was a perfect relief from the heat - so comfortable to sit and cool off after our journeys out to Sabino Canyon, the Sonora Desert Museum and Catalina State Park - all easy trips. I have always wanted to experience this kind of pool...at the touch of a button, it creates a current against which to swim. It was great. I could get a good workout or just relax. And the jacuzzi was wonderful, especially at night under the stars. I can't think of a thing I would improve! 5 Stars!

Gorgeous views, great house

This was the perfect spot for our stay. Loved the views and layout of the property. Plenty of room inside and out. Great location for exploring the NW side of Tucson, but still easy access to downtown and the university district.

ORO VALLEY PET PARADISE

A Fantastic place to experience Old Tucson and have a wonderful safe environment for pets! The home is very comfy. Beautiful Views from the backyard of the Catalina Mountains! Nice area and close to pretty much everything! Drive right up under the portico (covered) and unload your luggage a mere 5 steps from the front door! Very, Very Clean! This special treasure is one of the few places that we have felt our K9's are totally secure! Very comfortable bed in master and a lot of extras in kitchen & bathroom amenities. Can't say enough about this special place. 5 Stars All The Way!!!!!!

Quiet and beautiful !

The minute we walked in we were in AWE! Beautiful view and very clean and nicely decorated. Our stay was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed and the pool was good for a cool off on a hot day! We would definitely stay here again 10 star place! Communication was perfect and check in was a breeze.

Fantastic house, location, and management

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks and are already talking about when we can get back to Tucson and re-book this house. Bre and Felicia were perfect to work with (we had one minor internet issue that Bre fixed with the internet company literally within minutes of my letting her know about the issue). We were otherwise able to work online for these two weeks with no problems (we are remote teaching and both need to be on video calls at the same time for class - no issues). The location is great for getting to the Catalina Mountains for hikes (Linda Vista is 5 min away, Pima Canyon 10 min) and isn't bad for getting to U of A (25min) or Saguaro West or East (about 40ish min). The neighborhood is really quiet. The house is so great. We loved the clear view of the mountains, the stars at night, the grill, the great comfortable seating and lounge areas outside and in, the hot tub, the pool (I stuck my feet in to cool off between hot tub sessions, but it was too cold to swim - it was mostly in the 60s while we were in town), the nice shower, the extremely comfortable adjustable king bed (I slept the best I have in months, even though we have a new king adjustable bed at home!). We really appreciated having access to the large garage that could fit our Jeep truck. The kitchen was great - lots of counter space, nice pans, everything easy to clean up. Basically anything you could possibly want for gear, they supplied. Truly one of the very best rentals we've stayed at (and we've stayed at many dozens over the years). Thank you for hosting us and we are looking forward to coming back in the future.
