Lake Cushman Cabin with Private Access to Lake & Park

The perfect get away! This cozy cottage at Lake Cushman is located within walking distance of the Lake where you will find a boat launch, playground, and picnic areas. Situated in the heart of the Olympic Mtns. and close to the town of Hoodsport, WA., this oasis in the woods is a very comfortable spot.

The cottage itself is equipped with full electric eat in kitchen. There is electric heat for the snowy winter nights, along with a fire pit for roasting your marshmallows during the wonderful summer evenings. The cottage is a fully furnished one bedroom with a loft and will sleep 6 comfortably. There is plenty of room and spare parking for RV, family and guests.

The cabin does not have Wi-Fi and cell service is limited in the Lake Cushman area. Cabin is equipped with a landline.

The outdoor amenities are endless with swimming, fishing, hiking, boating, kayaking, site seeing, photography, and/or if you just want to relax. Being near the Hood Canal offers easy access to saltwater sporting or at least the benefit of the clams, oysters and salmon.

If guests are bringing a personal watercraft and trailer, cabin owners must be notified in advance to order the $35 a day boat and trailer pass. Passes are required when using the private boat launch.

The bathroom is a bit small, and there is no washer dryer on site. Otherwise, it is a very lovely cabin! It is a half mile walk to the lake.

Little getaway

We had a great time visiting Olympic Nat. Park. It was nice for us to completely unplug. The house had everything we needed to cook.The smores kit was a wonderful surprise.

Thank you Amy for working with me to extend our time at Lake Cushman. I appreciate your willingness to exchange our reservation because of the fires. We had fun exploring the area. My boys enjoyed playing the ladder game & we sat outside around the fire. There were lots of videos to choose from, but would have been helpful to have WiFi in the house, for trip planning. Lake Escape

This Lake Cushman cabin was perfect for a cozy getaway with a friend and our kids. It feels secluded while being a short walk or drive to the lake. The s’mores basket waiting upon are arrival was a thoughtful and appreciated touch! I would definitely stay again!

Great stay

The cabin was nicer n cozier than expected. Had everything we needed and more! The access to the private beach was awesome as well, liked it better than Skokomish park. Not having wifi or cell service was a bit of a struggle for communication BUT it was nice having everyone off of their phones and watching real dvds 📀 been a long time feels so retro lol would def come back.

Cozy cabin getaway

The cabin is situated within walking distance to the lake and playground and a short drive to Staircase Rapids. Our toddler loved the children dvd’s in the cabin, books and exploring the front yard where they found giant slugs. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable and quiet stay. We look forward to coming back.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

Loved this location! Had everything we needed and was so close to the lake. We had the whole swimming area to ourselves on Friday. Really enjoyed being disconnected from the internet and relaxing. Great selection of games and dvds. Kitchen was fully stocked for our cooking needs. Highly recommend and will return!

Fantastic property, perfect location, the house is well designed with the sleeping loft for the kids upstairs and the downstairs master, The benefit of having private access to the dock and beach that are part of the homes is outstanding!! This property is five star all day long if the following issues are resolved 1) since the reception is tough in the trees, we barely had one bar, it would be super nice and attract the business class which increases your clientele base, you could even raise the price to cover WiFi and it would be barely noticeable but greatly appreciated 2) several dispensers, like hand soap in the bath were empty, we don’t mind refilling ourselves, but possibly provide a closet with refills for all dispensers accessible for the client would be amazing, and lastly the outdoor Barbecue was in very bad condition to the point of being unsafe, I would just buy a new barbecue every couple years cause defective equipment could create hazerdous conditions and a barbecue is a good selling point. Love the house and location and would definitely stay again on our next vacation!

Great and Comfortable Home

This was a great place to stay for Lake Cushman. We booked it to visit Olympic National Park, however it was a 5 hour + round trip drive to most of the parks main hiking trails, other than the Staircase hike. Olympic National Park is so big that you should really plan the trip carefully and stay in multiple locations based on your itinerary. Amy was awesome in her response to questions.

Cute little cabin near a gorgeous lake!

This place was fantastic! Super cute little cabin in a quiet neighborhood. The private beach was FANTASTIC, and the lake is so beautiful! Also a short drive to Hoodsport and the Staircase Loop hike in Olympic. We will definitely be back. The propane fire pit was great to be able to use, considering the burn ban. My only tips would be to bring dish towels as there were none, and your own non-stick cookware, as the ones available were pretty thrashed. Minor details of a wonderful vacation!

Great Spot but noisy neighbors

Acomodations were great. Left a day early due to bad neighbors that kept us awake all night with their drug party, cars with loud music came in and out all night. Property manager refused to credit us for leaving early.

Cabin

This is a cabin. No verizon cell service. No wifi. No washer/dryer/dishwasher. If you can survive without those luxuries, it is an amazing place. This cabin is located a half mile from a gorgeous mountain lake! This cabin has an epic DVD selection for late nights! Hoodsport is a great small town with cute shops/restaurants. Our family would recommend this cabin!

Nice cabin, close to great beach, owner communicated quickly.

The cabin is laid out well, loved there were 3 queen size beds. The outside deck/yard were great, lots of parking and fit our truck/boat easily. The listing said charcoal grill only, but we were pleasantly surprised to find the gas grill. One recommendation would be more coffee cups and plates. The only negative feedback would be the cabin was very dirty, we arrived to some dishes in sink, lots of cobwebs on every light fixture and looked like it needed a good scrubbing/vacuum.

Quick Cabin Trip

We were fortunate to book a quick last minute trip to this little cabin in the woods. The host was great at answering all questions with very prompt responses. The private lake access was nearby making it easily accessible to take an infant. We enjoyed our stay and would book again!

Very nice cabin in a quiet neigborhood.

Nice, clean cabin except no AC in the heatwave even the owner tried their best to hook up a portable AC but so noisy and help a little of common area. It's also be best if wifi is existing.
