The house was well provisioned with a beautiful view. It worked great for us as we were attending a wedding reception just 5 minutes from the property. The weather was also cooperative which was a plus - allowed us to spend some time out on the patio. Would stay there again.The Grove Family

Beautiful location; comfortable accomodations; ample room for my family of 8. Check-in was super simple; we were in the house in a flash!The kitchen had everything we needed plus extras, including a bag of fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies! Convenient to have a washer/dryer too.The walk to the beach was down a short, steep hill, but no one had any trouble. There was parking at the beach area also. All in all we had a wonderful vacation and I highly recommend this property.

The house was lovely and kitchen very nice. However, it was very confusing getting there. The directions only listed an address. It should have told to take the lower driveway. Instead we took the upper driveway and ended up going in the wrong house. It had the same code on the keybox. Luckily a neighbor came along and let us know it was the lower house.

Golf Weekend at the Canal

Callie is a great host and her property is very nice, not far from Belfair and was a near perfect central location for our Hood Canal area golf outings. Great view of the canal, spacious home and a very enjoyable time. We all agreed to book again next year assuming we can find availability. Thank you!

Great place

The house is great. Our son is in the Coast Guard nearby. We had his family and grandkids. They called it the beach house. Everyone enjoyed their time there. Awesome view. The kitchen has all you need for the chef in the family. Really enjoyed the place. The communication with the owner was great. I would definitely recommend the house and would return.

Lovely Thanksgiving weekend

Spent a long lovely thanksgiving weekend at Callie’s Hood Canal spot! Accommodations were comfortable and you can’t beat the view! Kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a group of 8 - highly recommend!

Spacious, comfortable, fully equipped rental with a view

This is a wonderful home for a large group of family and friends. First floor interior boasts a well-equipped kitchen, dining table for 8, comfortable living room couch, recliner, and chairs, a full bath with dual vanities, and a king bed in the master. There is also a laundry room and showered bath off the kitchen. Upstairs has a separate lounge area and 3 bedrooms (queen bed in two rooms and bunk beds and a double/queen bed in the third room). There is a half bath on the second floor. We made use of the grill and enjoyed the gorgeous view from the paved patio that has plenty of seating. Guests have access to the private beach area/dock, which is a nice walk down the hill. Caveat: Parking is tight for trucks or more than two sedans. Callie was accommodating and helpful with all concerns and questions. Book your stay here--you will love this home away from home!

Great stay at the Hood Canal Beach House

We had a wonderful time at the Hood Canal Beach House. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was fully stocked with everything we needed. If I ever went back to the area I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect and gorgeous

This may be the best rental we've had so far. It was perfect for our family of adult children. It truly does have four real bedrooms and everyone said their beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked which is important because there are no nearby restaurants. We mostly cooked and grilled. There is a wonderful patio overlooking Hood Canal. The first evening we sat out admiring the view and watching the hummingbirds. The last night we could see a million stars. Overall a very comfortable and well appointed home. Also Callie was very responsive to our questions and more flexible on arrival and departure than any of our previous rentals. If you're looking for a beautiful spot to get away from it all, this is it.

Prepare to Enjoy your stay!

My family (including a toddler) and I very much enjoyed our relaxing time at this home. The views were spectacular! The weather even better :) We enjoyed many hikes in the area, and even drove to Olympic National Park for a hike (about a 90 minute drive, one way) ... My husband golfed several times and was also able to work as the internet connection, while not perfect, was very suitable for our needs. Thank you Ryan and Callie for a very enjoyable vacation.

Couldn’t of been any better!

The house is fabulous! Rooms for all the kids (adults now) upstairs and the master with a view downstairs. The entire living room has walls of windows that give you the beautiful views of the water, trees, birds, moon and stars. We didn’t need for anything! We used the BBQ for Salmon and chicken. And then put wood in the fire pit to make s’mores. Everyone in the family thanked me for finding this beautiful home. Thank you Callie for being a wonderful hostess and for letting our family stay it was wonderful. The one thing I would advise any other Guests, is to make the drive to Sheldon to shop at Walmart. The local Safeway is super expensive. The neighbors were friendly and said hello and unfortunately told us we missed the killer whales by one day they were in the water swimming and frolicking around the morning before we arrived. Sorry to miss them but our trip nevertheless was wonderful.

Incredible views!

Beautiful property with plenty of room. Extraordinarily well equipped with beach toys and chairs, kitchen utensils, toys for kids, propane and firewood. Lots of everything you may need. Nearby Belfair State Park was a great visit - go at low tide. Convenient to beach. Check-in very easy and Callie is very responsive. She answered emails in minutes! Be aware that you will have to carry out your own garbage to the refuse facility in Bremerton - dump fee $36. (or carry it home) (lots of trash bags at the house)

Beautiful time with family

We had a wonderful time spending time and reconnecting with our family at this property. The house was comfortable, spacious and beautiful. The outside area with its breath taking views overlooking the water was where we had our morning coffee every morning. There is private beach is only a short jaunt down the road is well kept and very enjoyable. We were able to bring our boat and dock it and use it during our stay which was a major plus for us since there are not many places to rent with boat access to the water.

beautiful views, close to our wedding venue, plenty of space!

Perfect location for us, great and enjoyable stay for my family in the days leading up to our wedding. Only tricky part was dealing with trash at the end. Recommended dump tried to charge them to leave bags of trash?

Family Reunion Home Base

There were 8 adults staying with the full count the middle 3 of the 5 nights with some arriving later or leaving sooner. The location worked out fine for meeting with other local (Bremerton to Shelton) and visiting family. The kitchen had everything one could want in utensils, pots/pans, dishes, etc. The views were wonderful especially from the patio, well equipped with lots of outdoor chairs and a couple good sized tables, beach access was great. Only thing was we had 4 cars with us coming from different places and different times, so navigating the narrow driveway to get to the area at the house to park the cars was a juggling act at times.
