Weekend birthday trip

We loved our stay! It’s a cute condo. Very clean and close to everything. We had trouble with the WiFi login and password but ultimately that forced us to put down our phones for the weekend which isn’t really a bad thing. We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo

The condo is exactly as pictured. It's right beside one of the pools too. Everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had to get into our car to go to dinner or the beach, but St Simons Island doesn't charge to park, so we didn't mind. This condo is conveniently located, and a quick drive to everything on the island. The property is beautiful. Very quiet in the evenings too. Check-in and out were quick and easy. The bed sheets and bed were very comfortable.

Stayed Only 1 of 2 Nights

I normally take about 4 trips to St. Simons island each year and rent a condo or house depending on length of stay. This was my first encounter with Ocean Walk Unit 8Q and the property manager Signature Properties. The condo was clean, but there was a constant dripping sound that could be heard in both bedrooms. I do not know if it was the AC condensate line, but it was very noticeable. It was so bad that I had to rent a hotel room for my guests and I slept on the couch for the 1 night and did not stay in condo the 2nd night. Signature Properties is the property manager for the unit and will send you a form that needs to be initialed and signed before arrival. Since I rented the condo 2 weeks before arrival, I paid the total non-refundable cost during the online reservation. Within a couple days the form arrived via email and it stated that there was a $50 Non-refundable damage fee to be charged. Before sending the form back I called the property manager and asked if I would be charged for this fee. The property manager answered very rudely the following statement: "NO. You have already paid the fee, Read your Invoice". In summary, I will not rent Unit 8Q at Ocean Walk again and I will not rent any property if managed by Signature Properties.

Oh goodness, we really wish you would have called us and let us know of the issue this is the first we are hearing the dripping noise we would have gladly had someone come over and see what was going on so you could enjoy your stay. As for the rental agreement sent, we have that listed on all of our rentals whether they are on VRBO or not, this is to protect you as a guest and the owner. We also try and make sure in the email sent to you that we see you booked through VRBO and all fees are included in the amount you have paid through VRBO. Again, we apologize you took our answer as rude and again really wish you would have given us a chance to correct the issue in the condo whatever was dripping so you could have enjoyed your time with us.

Great Location!

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed in this condo on St. Simons and we have really enjoyed ourselves and love being on the island! There is a fantastic beach a short drive away and the condo is walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants!

Great spot to stay

This is our second year coming down to play in a baseball tournament and our whole team stayed in this complex. Great location to downtown and all the kids loved the pool and clubhouse to hang out in. The room was nicely furnished and clean.

Great condo!

This condo was just as advertised, but the location and outside were maybe even BETTER than noted. It's a large condo complex, but in a very nice area and close to the end of this island where all the "action is." : ) (You do need a car or bike to get there, though.) Everything was clean, quiet and comfortable, and we would definitely stay again. The only thing missing was the ability to recycle vs. throw everything in the trash.

Wonderful!

This was the easiest place to rent, check in, stay and leave. We literally had no issues at all. We had a wonderful time. Didn’t see no neighbors(though I’m sure they were there), it was quiet and so home like. Our three year old absolutely loved the pond and the animals all around the pond and the playground. We truly just had a great time.

Great location

This was a great base from which to explore St Simons and the surrounding area. The condo is small but nicely furnished and clean. Our son enjoyed basketball, ping pong, and other amenities in the complex.

The unit was small but nice. It’s conveniently located with easy pool access and walking distance to the Village. All furniture was comfortable except for the couch. Overall, a very positive experience!

Memorial Day getaway

Very clean, spacious, and we loved the view on the screened-in back porch of the canal. There were Manatee that swam by. Lots of different birds. Fish jumping. The beach was not too far of a drive. There is a nature preserve with walking trails within a mile or so. It was very peaceful and we would definitely stay here again!

Great Property and Great Location
