Make wonderful family memories at this charming Prince Edward County Cottage getaway. This lovely property is located within the Great Blue Family resort vacation park in Cherry Valley Ontario. The property is located less than 5 minutes from Sandbanks Provincial Park (parking / entry pass included for your stay) and 10 minutes from the picturesque towns of Picton and Bloomfield. This property is ideal for families as the park features a large heated pool, Splash Pad, Play Structure, Basketball and Tennis court as well as a 1200 ft private exclusive use beach during your stay. This cottage features many beautiful touches such as its amazing sun room as well as its landscaped fire pit area, large deck with patio set/ BBQ and its huge backyard . The cottage has good tree coverage which provides great shade from the mid-day sun on the deck. The private beach is less then a two minute walk away and you can enjoy the amazing breeze that comes off East lake all day long. Cottage comes equipped with 48 inch TV with Surround sound speakers both in the unit and sun room as well. The sleeping set up consists of 1 queen size bed as well as a Double mattress and a Single. There is also a pull out couch that sleeps 2, seven people can sleep comfortably. Two minute walk from the welcome center which has WIFI as well as a games room featuring pool and ping pong tables and arcade. There is a small coffee/ice cream bar located at the welcome center and a outdoor restaurant as well. Worry free vacation as the cottage comes equipped with anything you could possibly need including plates, cutlery, paper towel, etc. Minutes away from over 20 wineries and numeours excellent restaurants located in tourist friendly Prince Edward County. 2.5 hours to Toronto/Ottawa, 3 hours to Montreal. Please note linens and towels are not provided and guests are requested to bring their own.

An Unexpecxcted Surprise

We received the literature before arriving. the VRBO write up indicated that the office was open until 8pm for check in. We arrived and we couldn't get through the gate because we didn't have a code and the office was closed. We phoned the owner and didn't get a response. Someone let us through and then we had to go down numerous streets until we found the sight and got the keys from the door. We were not informed that the cottage was at trailer located in a trailer park and 3 streets away from the water. Despite being told that the sheets were boiled, there were no linens at all. Fortunately we brought our own. The trailer was clean although the top of the fridge was filthy. It really depends on what people are looking for. I would like to see the VRBO instructions match the owners instructions, the advertising reflect the fact that it is a trailer not a cottage and that the pictures be more representative of the unit.

Tres belle emplacement

Vraiment proche de la plage se Sandbanks a 13 min. Mais tres belle emplacement avec de jeune enfant, piscine, jeux deau, parc, plage, lac a tortue. Aussi, l'hote repondait tres rapidement et tres concilient. J'y retournerai demain matin, la seule le chose qui devrait être mieux indiqué, cest quon doit apporter nos propres draps, serviette de douche, débarbouillette, essuie main, essuie a vaisselle. Mais sinon le reste était parfait

Great place, just 10 min from Sandbank

Apart from a little electricity problem solved rapidly in the beginning of our stay, we had a great time. The cottage is as presented, well equipped. Note that wifi is only available at the welcoming center of the resort.

Family vacation to Cherry Valley with Toddler

We had a 5 day stay and had an excellent time. It’s a perfect little cottage resort for families with young kids. My daughter loved the beach ( which is private to the resort) and it’s a two minute walk away. The splash pad and playground are great and the pool is a nice temperature. The cottage is the perfect size for one family. The host is very quick to respond to questions. Our only issue was that the bbq really needs a good clean or the grills replaced. We didn’t use it because of this and we had hoped to. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

Our stay at Cherry beach resort

We had a great experience. The only inconvenience was that the description stated linens and towels and when we got there, there were none. Excellent communication with the property manager helped to solve the issue. All the rest of the amenities were great and we had a nice time overall.

Vacation review

We stayed for a week and the cottage was absolutely clean and very nice. The resort is very family oriented and the staff very helpful. Ben was very accommodating and available for any question we had.

Clean modern mobile home, great location

Host: The host is very responsive and easy to communicate to. Cottage: The cottage belongs to the mobile home beach resort that has some complimentary amenities: pool, DVD rental, kayaks, and paddleboard rentals. The internet is available at reception only, and the connection is poor. The cottage itself is freshly renocated and has the necessities for the stay.. There were 4 of us and it was comfortable. for 7 people, might be a bit too tight but there are enough beds. It's backing off on the field, which provides some privacy. Location: About 10 min drive to Sand Banks provincial park, 15 min to Picton.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We decided to purchase this property after much thought and deliberation. Its located within the Great Blue Resort Park. What stood out to us was how Great Blue was geared towards young families like our own. We enjoyed every aspect of it including the private beach, splash pad, basketball/Tennis court, Games room etc. The cottage we decided to purchase sits on the largest piece of land available within the resort and features excellent privacy. It was also very well taken care of by the previous owner and you can see pride of ownership throughout from the the interior of the unit to the well landscaped grounds.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This is essentially a family resort and features many of the amenities you would come to expect at an all-inclusive including private beach, splash pad, play structures, basketball/tennis court etc. It is also gated and access is only granted to residents so there is a sense of security which is especially important to parents of young children such as myself. Sandbanks provincial park is less than 5 minutes away as are the scenic towns of Picton and Bloomfield. There is a also a huge wine and food scene here in Prince Edward County and that is also only a short drive away.
