Welcome to 23 Butternut Lane Sandbanks PEC where nature meets luxury, home away from home. We are only a 2 hour drive east of Toronto, a 10 minute drive to Sandbank Beach, in close proximity to 32 wineries and breweries, and steps away from relaxing and free amenities.

We encourage the use of the numerous amenities and activities including:

As a non-smoking gated community, enjoy the privacy and safety we offer.

Certain dogs with current vaccinations may be allowed as per resort policies. Please inquire within.

23 Butternut Lane Sandbanks, offers a host of attractions in Prince Edward County, and is the best place to lay your head while you explore the County, or simply look to unwind in a beautiful setting.

Fishers take notice! There are Black Crappie in West Lake, Brown & Rainbow trout in Lake Ontario. May brings walleye season in the Bay of Quinte, and the end of June brings the CSFL to the Bay to fish bass in the Bay and the Main Duck Island.

The Great Salmon hunt weighs in the Big Boys in Wellington all summer long. The Fall brings the big walleye to Picton where anglers from all over Canada and USA come looking for a Trophy walleye.

Great family spot

Property is really close to the pavilion and pool as well as park. It’s a nice layout and private as it in the last cottage and to the left is a grassy area. This was our second time staying here and it was very nice.

Such a beautiful area

I was a little disappointed when I discovered how far it was to the beach but soon learned to enjoy all of the amenities and spectacular Prince Edward County. Excellent value.

Amazing Stay!

Overall, fantastic stay! The only negative point was the comfort of the sofa-bed. This is minor, but I wouldn't advertise sleeping 6 ''comfortably''. Nevertheless, it deserves a good 4.5/5 and we'd stay there again.

Great family vacation

We enjoyed a fun family vacation. We love the location (10 minute drive from the Sandbanks beach), the pool and on-site activities. The cottage was very clean and had all of the amenities listed, and there was plenty of room for 2 adults, one teenager and three children. Calvin was very helpful and always reachable.

Very quiet cottage, equipped with little more than the basic (toaster, blender, and like four coffee machines 😄). It was clean and tidy. Two bedrooms, comfortable enough beds, and clean-good-size bathroom. The TV was great. Not sure if intentional, but Netflix and Prime were available for guests (thinking someone forgot to log off). We used the BBQ a couple of nights. Pincton is close enough for access to grocery store, Canadian Tire and meat shop.

Good overall

The resort is absolutely fantastic and we will definitely be back. This cottage was ok, the furniture was very uncomfortable and there were earwigs in the coffee machine when we went to use it on the first day. There also appeared to be bug feces on the coffee cups which was unfortunate but other than that it’s a nice enough unit. Can’t say enough good things about the resort though!

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to have heard about your incidences. The cleaners do check all big and small appliances including dishes, pots and pans and utensils. It could have occurred in between booking, but nevertheless, this will need to be investigated further.

Nice Get Away Spot

The cottage is nice and well maintained. Many consciences inside the cottage like a dish washer and washer/dryer. The furniture looks nice and is maintained well, but quite uncomfortable. Both my husband and I had back pain from sleeping in the main bed, the kids didn't mind their beds though. The front desk staff seemed new and like they didn’t know their jobs well, When we checked in they gave me the keys, which didn’t work, I came back they said they were the right keys, I tried again, my second time coming back they gave me a different key which worked. The pool is.nice and big and well maintained, the little gym is nice and the resort is centrally located and close to many fun activities. My kids enjoyed the crafts and activities the resort put on. All in all a good experience and we would recommend and return.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le lieu est idéalement situé à seulement 10 minutes des plages. L’endroit est idéal pour les jeunes familles car il y a beaucoup d’activité sur le site. Nous reviendrons !
