No property existed at this address

We booked months in advance, when we arrived the listing turned out to be fake and there was no villa. We are 8 girls travelling alone and we were looking for 4 hours for the villa and finally the real villa owner told us the listing g was fake. So then we took a hotel nearby. Vrbo were extremely slow and unhelpful during s stressful time and also cost me money calling them and coming up with zero help. I'll never ever book on VRBO again and I'll be making sure this story goes public. No one should have this experience and VRBO should not be encouraging this behaviour from face hosts and it should be better vetted and issued better dealt with. Agents were slow not sympathetic and the whole experience was awful. I'm expecting a refund and an apology for an awful ordeal that we were out through. Mel
