Great place to get away

Very quiet and picturesque location. I went here to relax and it really did the trick. There are plenty of trails nearby and close to shopping.

After a previous Property Owner cancelled our vacation rental last minute, I was afraid my S/O and I would spend our Anniversary at home. With 3 days until our scheduled check-in time, I took another look on VRBO and Booked THIS property. ...We couldn't have gotten more lucky. I will never stay anywhere else! The house/cottage was BRAND NEW. We were literally the first renters to step foot inside. Property Owner and Wife felt like family. Newly retired couple who decided to take their passion of exploring/renting vacation homes and fix everything they didn't like about the process. They are doing this because they want to... Could tell that they truly cared. (They had flowers waiting on the table for my S/O's birthday) I could tell they were going above and beyond when it came to every little detail. At the same time they were in no way bothersome, etc. But it was the warmest welcome I could have expected. When I continued to ask questions, we eventually chit-chatted for about an hour like we had known each other forever. Made entire process from check in to check out ultra easy. After 1 day had passed I called the property owner to ask a question about the propane Fire pit not starting (I wasn't pressing a button correctly; obvious user error), he was there in 2 minutes flat to press the button. The amenities rivaled that of a corner suite at Caesars Palace. Brand new.. everything, literally: grill + propane fire-pit + fireplace Electric heat + backup baseboard heat + AC. island kitchen, dining table, couches, desks, smart tv's, 4 ceiling fans, washer and dryer still had the factory plastic wrap on them! everything was BRAND NEW.. EVERYTHING. Couldn't have felt more SAFE. doors equipped with deadbolts, motion activated lights. Caring community. About 1-2x a day you can see the neighbor fly a small aircraft overhead! Owner had paddle boat/canoe with hand built docks on his ponds. +hundreds of acres to explore. Wasn't overloaded/crowded. A couple of other properties not too close or far. but nice knowing one can come back and not have to book a year in advance. This property owner was incredibly knowledge. He seemed to know everything and everyone in town. Where to go, when, why. Words can not describe how lucky we were to snag this property literally minutes after it was listed. Was so glad that our previous choice cancelled, WILL definitely be coming back for every anniversary to come. Words can not describe this gem.. everything.

Quaint Cottage clean and modern

Beautiful area and close to attractions Cottage was very clean and updated. The hosts were wonderful and very eager to see that we were happy with the cottage. We were there to see a show at the Blue Ridge Estate Winery and the location was very close. I will be recommending these cottages to our friends and family.

Wonderful vacation site!

The setting was serene; and the house was beautifully decorated and extremely clean, with all the amenities one would want. The owners are friendly and readily available, although we really didn't need to contact them during our stay, because everything was perfect. We especially enjoyed the fire pit on the front porch, as well the family of ducks who frequently waddled over to visit us. A wonderfully relaxing vacation site!

A home away from home

Such wonderful owners, they made us feel right at home. The cottage was immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the grounds including the ponds were picturesque. And all this was close to shops, Jim Thorpe and Bushkill Falls. What a lovely place to stay and we are definitely returning.

Amazing Beautiful Cottage

I stayed at this amazing cottage, as we wanted a nice couples getaway close to us (we’re from NY). The cottage is absolutely beautiful and has everything you can want!! The host Ross is so nice and personable. He gave us recommendations on things to do in the area. We went to a winery only 10 minutes away. The area is so serene and beautiful. We will definitely be back, as we enjoyed our stay!!

Ski Weekend

My girlfriend and I stayed at the property as part of a ski weekend. We had an amazing time! The property was extremely clean and had all of the things that we needed. Ross made things very easy for us and was extremely communicative. We will definitely be back!!

This is a great property. The owners are lovely, hospitable folks. Checkin was a hands-on experience. Everything is neat and tidy and well-provisioned. I would definitely return to this location.
