Peaceful getaway

This was our family's second stay at Waterfront Cottage and it was just as relaxing and peaceful as our first experience. Our kids loved exploring the grounds and spending time on the water or fishing. Ross and Val are the best hosts.

We (extended family of about 27, (including 5 little ones) stayed at all 7 cottages and the Church house for a weeklong family gathering post our son's wedding in Phila. Every single thing about the accommodations, location, hosts, setting was perfect. each family had the space they needed and we also were able to gather for family meals on the porch of the big house in the evening. Folks were well occupied fishing, lounging, and hiking while we also had plenty of relaxed time to simply connect amidst the calming and sweet landscape. Val and Ross were extremely responsive and attentive hosts and shared stories that gave the place a sense of meaning. Now, with the next generation growing into young families, it was the ideal way to holiday together without being in one another's way. Can't say enough about the thought and care that went into every element of the resort, bravo...well done!

Serenity!

We had such an enjoyable stay that we NEVER left, even though we heard of good local eateries. The property is just TOO nice to leave! Had all three daily meals at this beautiful, clean and peaceful cottage! Water views all around, sweet ducks out in the pond or quacking around the property - got a kick out of Pied Piper Ross feeding his ducks that clearly love the hand that feeds them! Row boat and paddle boat at your disposal, fishing all along the property or off the dock and a fire pit to end the evenings! Ah, serenity - did I mention that? :) Thank you dear hosts, Ross and Val for such an enjoyable time away at your absolutely beautiful cottage! Is it time to come back yet?! ;)

Peaceful Getaway

The hosts were warm & welcoming. The cottage is beautiful, you can tell the love and hard work given to make it a perfect getaway for you to create memories. Loved watching the ducks, swan, & fish. You won't be disappointed.

Just Wow!

This cottage is absolutely stunning! They have the cutest little ducks roaming. Ross and Val are amazing hosts, they made us feel so welcome and gave us so many ideas of places to go and little extra things to check out. They have an amazing place and have the matching personalities! Ross and Val, thank you again for making our visit perfect!! We'll be back soon!

Amazing Stay

Our time here was absolutely perfect. Everything about the cottage and the grounds could not have been any better. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and felt brand new inside. The ponds and activities on the grounds were the perfect way to enjoy nature and relax. The owners could not have been more accommodating and nice. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to others.

Pleasant stay & kind hosts

We we stayed here for the BlueMountain spartan race. As it turns out it was an enjoyable getaway weekend as well. Small house, but very nicely decorated, neat and clean, with a very kind hosts. We will return again next year.

This place was a hidden little gem, surrounded by water. Very clean & comfortable. We stayed here because my husband & daughter were running the Blue Mountain Spartan Race, but turned out to be a welcome getaway weekend as well. The hosts were very nice people, and was obvious they have great care for their properties & guests.

Relaxing stay

Beautiful, clean house in a nice quiet area. Great relaxing weekend close to wineries and restaurants. Loved looking out the window at the frozen pond and sitting by the fire at night. We will definitely be visiting again!

Serene Comfort

There aren't enough words to describe how incredibly fortunate we were to have met Valerie and Ross and to have stayed in their absolutely wonderful cottage in the Poconos. They truly saved the day when our original wedding airbnb flooded two nights before our event due to Storm Isaiah. Ross and Valerie weren't due to open their cottage to guests for at least another two weeks but somehow, they made it happen. They are just those kinds of hosts. They literally spent 24 hours hanging curtains, building furniture and installing appliances so that they could have it ready in time for our big day. And everything was perfect. Everything is brand new and sparkling clean from the two bathrooms to the kitchen to the bedroom. You get a view of the lake (including the famous heart-shaped island for weddings) from BOTH windows. How we wish we could have stayed longer!! As hosts, Ross and Valerie are incredibly hospitable, clearly experienced hosts and are also very charming and funny. We very much enjoyed meeting them the Friday we checked in and chatting for a little bit before we settled in. We can't wait to go back.
