There’s no shortage of fun to be had near this cozy cabin, situated on Kentucky Lake and just a short drive to Paris Landing State Park. Cabin was clean and comfortable. The acorns and other things dropping on the metal roof was a little disturbing. Getting to the cabin after dark was a little challenging on the small roads. Probably best to advise travelers to arive before dark if possible. Fishing on private dock was great. My son loved it. Thanks for a great visit!

This is a great place to get away for fun, privacy and plenty of relaxing. I took my boat as there was a private dock there for us. Fishing was ok but I didn't really know the area so not a lot of fish but a lot of fun! The cabin is perfect for about 4 people although there were only two of us. It is well equipped with most everything that you need with exception of food. All the conveniences of home while you are away. The view is fantastic with fire pit facing the water. This was a great place to vacation and the price was right!Barri

Beautiful, peaceful setting. Was there with a friend celebrating our 40 years of working and now retirement friendship. Perfect place to just relax and decompress! The lake views are beautiful, so majority of time spent on the deck just soaking it all in!

Amazing Getaway Location

We enjoyed our stay at Boyd Creek Retreat! The house was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. The deer flies were pretty bad around the lake (they bite), but other than that we have no complaints about the area! We will definitely book this house again in the future!!

Kentucky lake vacation

The cabin was great. Clean and very homey. We fished right off the dock a the sunroom had a great view of the lake. We will definitely go back.

Cozy Cabin with Amazing View

Enjoyed our long weekend in this cozy cabin. Easy check-in process. Great communication with the owner. We lacked nothing except sunshine and warm weather. Unfortunately for us, due to the weather, we were unable to enjoy the private dock, back deck and fire pit. We spent most of our time in the sun room enjoying the amazing view of the lake. The owner thought of everything……plenty of books, games, puzzles, kayaks, fishing gear, yard games, Roku, snacks. Even though we didn’t benefit from all the amenities, we enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful weekend.

Peaceful Lake Views and Perfect Getaway Spot

The view of the lake from the house was absolutely stunning—perfect for watching sunsets right from the dock. The house had everything we needed to cook great grilled dinners, and we really appreciated the cozy touches like board games and puzzles. One of us even finished a 500-piece puzzle during a storm that briefly knocked out the power. Even then, the setting made it feel like part of the adventure. A peaceful, well-equipped retreat in a beautiful spot.

The online pictures of this property were beautiful, and the property did not disappoint! It was clean, it was well stocked with kitchenware, the view is breathtaking. It was a perfect 3 day getaway for 4 long-time friends.

SPECTACULAR - SPECTACULAR

Absolutely adorable cinder block cottage located about 30 min away from the nearest stores, well off any main roads, and surrounded by a few quiet neighbors. Local flora and fauna abound. We stayed 2-21-25 through 2-24-25, and the temps outside were well below freezing. The home is heated by three mini splits, and two space heaters. The inside temp never got above 64*, so if you can't tolerate that, make that a consideration when you plan your visit. With the inside temp being so cool, and the house having concrete slab floors, be sure you pack slippers, socks, and shower shoes. BRRR...Those floors were freezing!!! Aside from the low inside temp, our stay was absolutely lovely. Entering and accessing the porch was easily navigable for my sister who uses a wheelchair. Though accessing the pier was NOT an option due to the sloping ground. Let me end by saying "THAT VIEW!"! Oh, my goodness!! The sunrises, sunsets, and the moon hanging, all happen in view of the decks of this lovely home. AND THEY WERE STUNNING!!! I wish I could share the photos I snapped. I would 10/10 recommend this location for these reasons, and many others. The host was great at communication, self-check in went seamlessly. BOOK IT!! You won't regret it, IF you're looking for peace and quiet, stellar views, being off the beaten path, but close enough to town should you NEED to go. You won't want to leave this cabin. :)

Reading Weekend

My girlfriends and I had an absolutely lovely stay. The property blew us away as soon as we arrived, and it continued to with each sunrise and sunset. I would definitely return to this property. My only concern was the cleaning fee + the list of what to do before checkout. I would have much preferred to spend the end of our trip relaxing outside than cleaning the house for the cleaner.

Bugs,bugs,bugs

Horrible experience with bugs. Left after 2nights out of 5. Were compensated $54 out of $1000 by Evolve and owner who works there-stay away from them!!! They admitted there were bugs but only compensated us this!!! Book direct with vrbo only as they tried to help us. Property is much older then photos. Bathroom is ancient. Sadly, a terrible 30th anniversary for us.
