Enjoy the benefits and location that this Turangi home has to offer. This beautiful property is centrally located - close to the mountains and for hiking and ski fields, Lake Taupo with water sports, swimming etc, the Tongariro River for adventure kayaking, jet boating and trout fishing.
The spacious, comfortable living area is downstairs with a fireplace for winter warm.
Full easy care bright kitchen. Two bedrooms upstairs that sleeps six. Two toilets, bathrooms.
Doors front and back that open onto decks creating a seamless indoor and outdoor flow and then to a flat section,
The yard around the house is fully fenced, so ideal for dogs of all sizes.

This home was perfect for our overnight stay as we drove from the East Cape down to the Kapiti Coast. Convenient, clean, comfortable, with everything we needed. Neighbourhood was a little noisier than expected, but that's not anything the host can control!

The house is in tough shape. Dirty and in need of a total rehab. Glad we were only there for one night. Would not recommendHost was engaged but still yeesh…

Quiet Stay Away

The place is nicely set up within the town of Turangi. Easy to get to and close to the town centre. The property is well kept and of a good size with plenty of space available. The unfortunate side of the property is that the second bathroom with shower is located on the ground floor which was inconvenient and we found several cockroaches in the property.

Thank you for your review. It is a 1980’s cottage so I think an older design re the shower. Sorry about the cockroaches. It’s a Turangi problem when the wood comes in for the fires from the outside wood stacks. I will ring the bug man today.. Thank you. The house was left as you found it. You are welcome again anytime. Comfy and roomy

Property was spacious, clean, and comfy. Location was nice and close to Turangi township. Fully fenced garden to keep the kids safe. Easy check-in process.

Handy location, quiet area

Had an issue getting keys initially, as lockbox was jammed therefore code didnt work, however once we got a hold of Paul he arranged for his cleaner to come really promptly and let us in.

disappointing

The property was ok'ish, the pictures make the property look a lot better than what it is. It was adequate but the location was quite sad and the overall care of the surroundings poor. There was no decent chairs to sit outside and it was quite unappealing anyway. I understand now that the address could not be disclosed until the day before we arrived. There was literally nothing appealing about the location. I would not stay again. The main bedroom's door could not be closed with the bed in the position it was. The oven didn't seem to work.

Due to lockdown in Auckland we have been stuck with getting there to do the extras. But there now since we can travel, and attending to things. Lucky our lovely cleaner kept things going. Thanks for staying. You are very welcome again and I hope you find a better experience and our cottage up to scratch.

One night

Hardest part was locating the key lockbox at the start! Once I found it the instructions made sense but it took me a while to figure out it was physically attached to the post at the top of the steps up to the deck near the back door.
