Extremely Disappointing Experience – Booking Cancelled Without Proper Notice
I had a very poor experience with this property and the booking platform. I booked this property well in advance on June 23 for a family stay from July 8 to 10. However, despite receiving confirmation, the host canceled the booking ten days later on July 3—just days before our stay—claiming the property had already been booked through another site.
This last-minute cancellation caused significant mental stress and financial hardship for me and my family, as we were left scrambling to find alternate accommodation on very short notice during a peak holiday period.
It is extremely unprofessional for hosts to list the same property on multiple platforms without real-time availability updates. I strongly urge future guests to double-check the booking status directly with the host before relying on confirmation from this site, as it cannot be trusted.
It’s unacceptable that after causing such disruption, the platform still requests a review for a stay that never happened. The integrity of your service and screening process for hosts seriously needs improvement.
