This is my 3rd or 4th time staying at this property. There's a reason why I continue to come back: easy, walking distance to most anything you'd like to do/see in Montrose/Museum district; simple check-in process - and the management is immediately available to help if any issues. Quiet, clean, safe. Plus: off-street parking is a HUGE plus. Will be back!
Property is in a great location; probably used to be apartments in 1940's in Houston. Classic high ceilings and woodwork. In Montrose area and museum district. Overall clean. Window AC unit only in den and very loud. Warmish/humid in bedroom. No coffee. Sheets did not fit pull out couch bed for kiddo.
OMG where do I start on the first night the blinds wouldn’t come down no air in the bedroom as promised the refrigerator went out after we had bought groceries and instead of replacing or offering another rental a small ice chest was left outside our door when we thought nothing else could happen the bedroom, bathroom and living room started flooding from a leak from upstairs our clothes got wet half of our groceries had to be thrown out. We had to pack up everything and move into another rental and we were told it had a kitchen but all that was there was a microwave. We were not offered a refund for any inconveniences we suffered so very poor business management SO DO NOT STAY HERE

Bad Experience
Th entire place smelled of urine. It was run down and gross and didn't feel safe.. The only thing I can say that was nice is the bed was comfortable. Regret it and won't do it again. I should have stayed in a hotel.

Nice and clean
Great place; poor communication however regarding the property.
Charles property was in a great area if you are looking to spend a few nights in Houston. Never had to drive more than 15 minutes to get to any of our events or eat at popular restaurants. Charles was very responsive when messaging!
Charles' place is in an ideal location for exploring the rich arts, culture and dining in the arts districts and downtown area of Houston. The apartment was just as advertised, clean and comfortable, and Charles is an available, caring and responsive host. We would stay there again on our next visit.
Communication with host was excellent both before and during our stay. We were unable to open the futon sofabed for my husband's bad back and by the time we returned later in the day it had been opened and made up. Apartment and neighborhood were both very pleasant.
I went to Houston for a class and my stay here was super quick but it was great!!! The cleanliness was great and the bed is super comfy! Thank you Charles!
Cozy and comfortable apartment. Host was super communicative and easy to reach. Would stay again if we're in Houston!

Nice location
Nice location, property is a little run down. Bed was comfortable and bedding was good quality. I would suggest the dining room chair and the couch be replaced and upgraded. Loved the location, communication was very good.
There's a reason why this is the 2nd time I've stayed there and will continue to stay here when I'm in Houston. Love the convenience and location of this place. Quiet, yet just off Montrose Blvd. within walking distance to everything so you can save money on an Uber :-) Oh, and the price is right! I'll be back.
My son & I only stayed two nights but it was the best sleep I’ve had in awhile. Great location near my oldest sons apartment & shopping. Nespresso machine was a bonus. We will stay again. Thanks Charles & Stefanos!!
Highly recommend; you'll love this place. Very quaint, neighborhood-y; I lived in The Montrose for 17 years, so know the area well, and this place is so conveniently located to everything! If you're into dive-bars (like me), some of the best are within stumbling distance...LOL! Forget Uber or Lyft; just walk! You'll be glad you did. This little oasis is perfect for 2-4 adults. There were two of us that stayed in #4, Comfy pullout in the livingroom was just right for my galpal, and I took the bedroom, which was equally comfortable with big closet for all our stuff. Nice walk-in shower - and Charles even supplied shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Cool little Nespresso machine makes some kick-azz coffee in the morning (Charles was very kind to supply the coffee pods), and there's a water filter attachment on the sink so no need to buy bottled water (unless you want to). Very quiet street, but only 1 block from Montrose. Great pied de terre = clean, comfy, secure, offstreet parking (for small vehicle) - and close to one of my fave Mexican restaurants (that has been there forever): Chapultapecs! We will be back! Oh, just a crazy side-note: I was sharing info about location with a friend. "back in the day", I lived just around the corner on Colquitt, and my friend actually lived in the same building as this very VRBO! Small world!
