Relax and enjoy the comfort of this beautiful, pet friendly home with a spacious, open living, dining and kitchen area, a nice screened porch with extra sitting area, and a slab patio/sun deck, also a covered front porch. Spacious bedrooms with master offering an electric fireplace and private full bath. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steal kitchen appliances, HVAC, ceiling fans, WIFI, LR basic cable TV and Direct TVs in bedrooms, laminate, carpet and tile flooring, fire pit, gas grill (propane not provided) and plenty of parking. Linens not included, please call or order online while booking your reservation. 2 night minimum rates available in Value - Resort Seasons. No Smoking. Check-In: 3-5PM, Check-Out: 10:00AM

We have stayed here several times and enjoy it each time. All on one level so no stairs. Quite area, not far from stores. Enjoyable walking area on the sound side. Had coffee each morning sitting on the porch watching the world go by. Will stay here next year.

Beach stay

The house was perfect! Location and presentation of the house were great! Loved the area. Great neighbors. Beautiful and convenient beach and fishing spots, as well as stores. Loved it all!

Beautiful Home

The home was beautiful, clean and well equipped. Very comfortable. The only thing I would say could have been better were the floors, they could have been swept/mopped better, they were a bit dirty with sand, we had to wear our shoes or slippers most of the time, we did sweep which helped but they could use a nice mopping. Other than that the home was very clean

2023 OKI vaca

We have stayed in this place before and love it. Love the yard, the area is quiet and walkable and near everything. Perfect for me and my cousins. The place always appears clean. I do have to sweep down cob webs on the porch and always have to wipe down doors and floors. Floors look clean but if you walk barefoot, your feet will look dirty. So we mop and wear socks. Will be back next year!

Short trip to Oak Island

We had a good time at Jim-N-I's Dream, arriving on a Sunday and checking out on Thursday morning. The check-in/out process was easy/straightforward. The layout of the house matched. My only complaint is that the one of the two showers was out of order, and while we were able to survive with only 1 shower (it wasn't a big deal), it was more that we didn't get advance notice. We showed up and there was a note saying "please do not use this shower." Best I can tell from the brief conversation we eventually had with the property manager, was that this issue was very new and was caused by something done by the group staying before us. So to give them the benefit of the doubt (since this occured on a Sunday), there wasn't sufficient time to give us notice, but still, it was something that kept the stay from being 5 stars.Everything else about the stay was right in line with what we were expecting, and the access to the outdoor shower (which was nice, especially with it having hot water) to clean up before coming inside from the beach was very convenient.

Dream House?

Big living room with comfortable sectional couch. Swivel recliner/rocker is small and narrow but comfortable for a small frame person. Dining table seats six but is taller than average requiring taller chairs, making it difficult for most to put their feet on the floor. That’s okay for a meal but can get tiresome for extended times, like playing games. Kitchen features a double oven stove (nice) but one of the stove-top burners didn’t work. Mgmt. sent a repairman but he said he had to order a part so we never had use of it. Refrigerator is French door style with bottom freezer. Two coffee makers ( K-pod & drip), blender & toaster. Master BR is huge with a simulated fireplace heater, useless in the summer. The covered porch is a lot more worn than is evident in photos. Grill grates are poorly maintained (aren’t they all?) and outdoor fire pit didn’t work. Lawn hadn’t been mowed in a while but our dogs enjoyed the fenced- in yard. We’ve rented beach houses for many years and almost without exception the housekeeping is iffy at best. Here, the floors were sandy when we arrived and the master bathtub had hair in the drain and on the wall. Despite this, we enjoyed the house because it suited our family of four adults, two teens and two Chihuahuas. Given the opportunity, we would rent it again but with lower expectations. Check-in required visiting the property mgmt office, only to discover that entry was by keyless lock. Office visit seems unnecessary & inconvenient.

Great place

I forgot to leave a review -sorry We stayed back in April 2022 with 2 new puppies. This place was so nice and cozy. Clean and yard was perfect to let those puppies run their energy out. I walked every day. This is across from the ICW . Very quiet. Neighbors so nice. WE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN Highly recommended it

Nice house but could be cleaned better.

The house was good size and nice. However there was much dust and the floors needs cleaned better. We had a baby and would never be able to set her on the floor. Most of the pillows need replaced. We liked the house but would not rent again without a guarantee of cleanliness.

July 4th Family trip

The home has beautiful laminate flooring, kitchen is up to date, plenty of parking, fenced back yard with a nice area to cookout. Suggestions: The beds were uncomfortable and really hard. The area rugs in the living room need to be cleaned. Not sure if the home has been sitting awhile or just quick rental turnover. We would possibly stay again if the mattresses were more comfortable.

Annual cousins trip.

Perfect place for us. Four adults and we each had own room. Sat on the porch with coffee and cocktails. Walked the neighborhood in the evening. Short drive to beach and restaurants, like 5 min. Drove over to Southport. Went to farmers markets and concert on Friday. Great place. Older, but some updates. Will visit again.

Family Vacay

Location was good. The outside shower was not working and the flooring was in dire need of repair. We did not know it didn’t work and almost went through the floor when we stepped inside. This needs to be addressed before someone is injured. Other than this we had no issues and enjoyed our trip.
