Villa Barbara is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom property on a direct gulf access canal (6 minutes/.5 miles by boat) with an electric heated pool and spa. This home sleeps a maximum of 6 guests (including children) and is not pet friendly. Please note that the boat lift is NOT available for guest use.

Wonderful week in Cape Coral

We invited friends to spend a week boating in Cape Coral and this house was perfect! Pool and hot tub were great and the location was close to the river. We rented a boat so the dock on the canal was terrific, and the outdoor grill and fire pit got lots of use. Thanks for a wonderful week!

An overall very good experience. The house was clean and well taken care of, and there were no negative items that effected my stay. Denny was responsive and helpful with local knowledge and restaurants to check out. Overall, an excellent house, as advertised, and we would rent Villa Barbara again.

We had a great stay at this lovely home! The location is prime, especially if you are boating. Only a 10” ride to the river. The lanai and pool were great as well as the outdoor kitchen! We hope to go back!

House was beautiful. Communication with agent went very smoothly. However, the outdoor patio and pool area was absolutely amazing! Pool cleaning team perfect 5 stars!

Vacation in Paradise

Loved the pool! We have been renting with VRBO and others for 12 years. This is the first rental with Southwest Florida Vacation Rentals. I would absolutely rent with them again. The property is very well managed and set up for vacation rental. Light switches were well labeled, there was a binder in the house that went over everything and how things were operated. This was the first time a representative from the property management met with us personally after we arrived. Denny, you were very helpful. Thanks!

Beautiful Lanai

This is our 4th year in Cape Coral so we enjoy this area a lot. The interior living space and outdoor lanai are open and beautiful. Two of the bedrooms have a jack & jill-style bathroom which would be good for multiple kids. The house is really nice and on a cul-de-sac which was also nice for our young daughter to ride her bike & scooter. If you are doing a winter rental here you need to understand the pool/ hot tub heater. The hot tub and pool share a 'heater' which means you can only heat one or the other. It takes an 1.5 hours for the hot tub to get a hot and the pool never gets warm enough to swim because they only run the heater 12 hours a day so it can never catch up. The property management company did not make that clear before booking so we were disappointed. I just want to make sure future families understand that because it can really impact your trip if you are going in the colder months. Overall, it was a beautiful home & the property management company was very responsive.

Property Review

The property was very much what we had expected to find based on the listing. The home has a very nice layout and a great separation of the master and the other 2 bedrooms. Great access to the pool/lanai area from 4 access points. The full wall sliding glass doors makes for an incredible "endless" space from outdoors to indoors. We enjoyed the fire pit every evening and the lighting system around the pool was fun to watch. Did I happen to mention that we enjoyed our stay here??

Great Villa with Awesome outdoor space.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Villa. . Had a small problem with hot tub but it was addressed immediately. We rented a boat for a couple of days. Location for boating is ideal. Best part of the house is the outdoor area. We spent almost all our waking hours out there. We would definitely come back!

Very relaxing vacation home!

My husband I enjoyed one week in Villa Barbara! The pool area was used everyday and we loved it! The kitchen and living room space was very nicely set up as well. The bedding in the master bedroom could have been a bit nicer quality than what was provided, but overall we had a wonderful time in the house!

Perfect Home for Our Vacation

This home was so perfect for us - beautiful decor and furnishings, great open layout, plenty of towels and kitchen needs, amazing private outdoor living space and so nice to have a boat dock right there to use for our boat rental. I was so sad to leave this amazing home! Great location close to main water for boating and close to restaurants and grocery stores for anything you need!

Perfect Florida house

Absolutely awesome house. I almost didn’t want to write this review so we can keep it a hidden gem for ourselves!! Fantastic layout, amazing lanai and all the amenities you’d ever want. We will definitely stay here again! Only downside is the property management company doesn’t know a ton about what’s there and isn’t, there were cooking oils, spices and a lot more toilet paper than they tell you there is 🙂

Unwind by the pool

We chose Villa Barbara based upon photos of the lanai and pool. We weren’t disappointed. We wanted to enjoy a relaxing time with our family in the Florida sunshine lounging around the pool. Villa Barbara met our expectations perfectly!

Amazing house!

My husband and I loved this house and the amenities. We didn’t go anywhere in 2020 to stay safe for our jobs which were VERY stressful last year. The pictures do not do justice! The neighbors were great! There are great restaurants just within 5 miles or less! Denny was very nice to work with as well. We highly recommend staying at this home!

Gorgeous Cape Coral Home

My family and I loved staying at this gorgeous Cape Coral home! The check in was easy. The owners were really nice and informative. The house is in a great location to explore Sanibel Island and Ft. Myers. We loved the hot tub and the pool! The house is very clean and decorated beautifully. My family and I are looking forward to staying at this house in the future. I highly recommend this property!
