The home and kitchen are well supplied. The proximity to main street is a wonderful feature of the property. Our family was very comfortable in this spacious home.

STAY HERE!

Perfect place to stay for a medium large group. We had 8 people, each couple had their own private space and bathroom, with most even having their own mini fridge. Perfect walking distance to the strip (On the Hondo’s side). Cutest little street and each room has their own personal entrance from the outside. All the amenities, easy check in and check out, and the house is super cute! A MUST stay in Fredericksburg!

Great location

This place was amazing. We had a lovely relaxing visit. The porch was great for early mornings and late afternoon family time. We were in walking distance to most things. Highly recommend.

Spacious and cozy

We stayed in this pleasant home for our family spring break vacation! This cozy house had so much to offer. Everyone had their own bed and room, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the washer and dryer were convenient. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing, and we spent many sunsets together as a family swinging on the porch swings and rocking in the rocking chairs. The location of this home was perfect for walking our dog along the tranquil neighborhood streets and the bustling and quaint downtown.

Super cute and great location!

Spacious for large groups and great location! Advertises 8 people but will sleep 12!!! Large rooms and bathrooms will all the comforts of home! Host was prompt to reply when needed which was very helpful also!

Lovely place, but a note on the bathrooms..

We recently stayed in this lovely home and had a wonderful experience. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and in a fantastic location, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding area. One note for future guests: while the house offers several great amenities, only one of the bathrooms has a walk-in shower. One is a full bathroom with just a bathtub (upstairs) and the other two are jacuzzi tubs with a shower. This might be something to consider for elderly guests or those with mobility challenges.Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Cousins Trip

Ruth’s Crew Trip- my (our) grandmother was a lively woman, full of life. We came together to celebrate the Loved Ones that have past from our family and celebrate that continued love and support each of us has for each other. I knew this house was perfect the moment we got out the car and saw the pecans on the ground. Our grandmother loved picking pecans and sending them to her children, sisters and brothers near and far.

Fun Stay

What a great house!! There was lots of room for the four couples staying at this house. We each had our own space. It’s an older house but well kept. Although it is technically within walking distance to Main Street, it’s two long blocks up and then you’re at the very end of Main St. We ended up driving and parking and then walking as one couple has some mobility issues. No negatives to report. Side note, one of the bathrooms is a tub only so if you only shower then pick a diff room!! We would def go back.

Beautiful historic home with plenty of space!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend to celebrate my best friend getting married. The house was plenty spacious for the 12 of us and it was such a neat layout! The house is decorated in such a charming manor, all of the ladies loved it! Being an older home, the floors do creak a little at night, but it was nothing too loud or major. The a/c worked wonderfully, there was an ice maker, fully stocked kitchen, laundry, and tons of things like bags, trash bags, even extra toiletries. The house is very clean and obviously well-cared for. I highly recommend this house if you have a big group. It is super close to town and was an easy walk to the wine shuttle.

Check in was flawless! It’s a very cute house in a perfect location. We were able to walk to our dinner reservation at the steakhouse downtown. We could walk everywhere downtown and that so convenient. The house was very much like the photos. The kitchen was filled with all the things that we needed. The only thing I think they could improve on is the cleanliness. In the basic areas of the house it is clean. But they need to wipe down the walls, baseboards and corners, as there is a lot of grime and dust bunnies. We enjoyed our stay there.

Clean house and accommodating host.

The home was clean and very comfortable. The location was so close to the main shopping area that it made the trip so nice. There was s minor problem that was taken care of quickly with no hassle.

Absolutely Perfect Place

This property is perfect! Seven of us had a girlfriends' weekend in Fredericksburg and could not have stayed at at better home. It was easily accessed, was very clean, is the perfect location (just a few blocks from downtown but in a lovely, quiet neighborhood), and is very roomy. Though not listed in the details, there is a traditional coffee pot, for which we were so grateful. We want to make this an annual trip and will absolutely return. I want to return with my siblings and their spouses as well. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

We enjoyed this house with plenty of room for 8 and a walk to main. The house is comfortable and interesting. Plenty of personal space and a nice front porch. The street has very little traffic so a very quiet corner of Fredericksburg

Can't get any better than this

We had a girl's trip planned and looked for the place that would give us enough space to spread out. We found it in the Cottage. This place was wonderful! there ended up being 8 of us and between enough sleeping areas and bathrooms this was the perfect place. Within walking distance to town and in a place where it is very quiet. Would highly recommend!

Adorable cottage located within walking distance of downtown Fredricksburg!

My friends and I hd the privelege of staing at this cottage for a girl's weekend and had an absolute blast. The booking and check-in process was smooth and easy, and the cottage was the perfect size and fit for us. We absolutely loved all the decor, and found everything to be well kept up and clean. I'd love to stay here again if I come back in the future!

This place is absolutely wonderful. Everything thing about it was perfect for a group of 8. Enough space for all. Well stocked kitchen. Location was perfect. Quiet yet close enough to walk to Main Street. Highly recommend. Will be back.
