Welcome to Vino Vida, a large and gorgeous German historic home built in 1925 surrounded by large pecan trees and a huge, fenced in yard, just blocks from Main Street. Enjoy a cool plunge in the new cowboy pool and relax in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit where you’ll often hear live music from nearby Hondo’s on Main. A huge covered front porch and gorgeous Gazebo invite you into old world charm!

Vino Vida is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood that puts you within an easy walk or short drive of everything Fredericksburg is famous for: coffee shops, restaurants, live music, boutique shopping, museums, and, critically, the many marvelous wineries. We are also just two blocks from the new Grand Central at Milam. Explore the Hill Country's wine road and return to the timeless charm of your historic retreat. Vino Vida isn’t just where you stay. Relax in the living room with original wood floors, a cozy gas log fireplace, a new LG smart TV, and a SONOS sound system. The master suite includes a dedicated surround sound music/theater system. The upstairs is built in the old German style, with an original clawfoot tub, king sized bed and two full-sized bunk beds (with one additional roll-out) await your guests. New LED lighting and ceiling fans make for a cozy, comfortable experience. Every bed has ideal reading lights and personal charging stations.



Gourmet Ready Kitchen: The fully furnished, old-style kitchen is ready for entertaining, featuring stainless steel appliances, two ovens, a wine refrigerator, and a small dishwasher. Dine together at the large butcher block table overlooking the back patio. A beautiful gas log set has been added to the large fireplace which was originally used for cooking and heating the house.



EV Friendly: Travelers bringing their electric vehicles will appreciate the 240V/50A fast charge station in the garage, perfect for your Tesla or other EV!



Outdoor Oasis: Enjoy total relaxation with our new cowboy pool (heater/chiller for essentially year-round comfort) and hot tub!



Downstairs: 2 king-size beds / 2 full bathrooms both with tub/shower combos

Upstairs: 1 king, 1 set of full-size bunk beds plus 1 full-size trundle (6 beds total) / 1 full bathroom with clawfoot tub (no stand-up shower)

Other Things to Note:

*Newly added Cowboy Pool with Heater/Chiller unit! Cowboy pool can be heated for extra usage during the cool spring and fall months and chilled during the hot Texas summers or can be used for a cold plunge before relaxing in the hot tub.



- Suitable for children/infants.



- Pets allowed. There is a pet fee of $45 per pet/per night (plus taxes/fees) and up to 2 pets only with a 35 lb limit. Pet fee is not automatically included in the total, it's added after booking is confirmed.



- No wedding, rehearsal dinner or wedding receptions allowed.



- Pest Control is scheduled quarterly. Due to the house being in the hill country, you will encounter critters. This is common even with pest control treatments.
