Seabatical was the perfect property for our girls trip!

We had nine lifelong friends celebrating our collective 50th birthday - and this houe was the perfect, most amazing place to stay :))) Perfectly located in between the airport and Georgetown, fitted with all the things you need to enjoy the beach and pool, and the most breathtaking views!!! We love you Exuma :)

Great Vacation

This property is in a great location, just minutes from Georgetown, and situated on a pristine white sand beach. The home has plenty of room and is fully stocked so you feel right at home. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Fantastic Getaway

We went for fall break. We were only there for 3 days but everything was amazing. It was as advertised. Would absolutely recommend this house for everyone.

Beautiful home with lots of space

We had a wonderful time at this house. There was plenty of space for three families (6 adults and 6 kids). We enjoyed the outdoor space, the pool and the beach.

We absolutely loved Seabatical. It's location is supreme! The concierge superb! The service was spot on! I can't say enough good things about this property. It was our first time in Exuma and we will definitely return!!!

The Perfect Getaway

The home was perfect, the property manager and owners were very nice and accommodating. The location was also excellent as grocery stores and a few dining options were nearby. In addition, the water was amazing and we definitely recommend a 1/2 day charter to explore the other islands/cays. We will come back.

The house was nice enough, but none of the wall plugs in the master bedroom worked, the ice maker didn’t work the entire we were there, internet kept going out..

James, I am glad you liked the house. It is unfortunate that you didnt say anything avout any issues you had while you were there. We have a fulltime concierge and we have a maintenance persin that comes by everyday.that would have dealt with any of the issues right away. The wall plugs are only a breaker, the ice maker is a button on the frridge and the internet is a reset button in the laudry room. All of the issues could have been dealt with within 5mins. It is hard to fix something if we know nothing about it. That is unfortunate. We have set up a great management group and take pride in responding quickly to any issue that may occur. Ralph

Amazing experience!

This house was absolutely amazing! It was beautiful and everything that we had hoped it would be for our beach vacation. We had 2 families in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone! We also loved that it had direct access to the beach and that it was very private. The concierge service that was included was so great to work with as well and took care of anything we asked for. It was perfect for our family! We can’t wait to come back!

It needs more maintenance as the screens for the outside were missing, and the pool had mildew on one wall.

Itzel, I am glad you liked the home. Regarding the screens on the sliders, we took them off since people kept on keeping the doors open while the air conditioning was on. This makes the air conditioning ice up and leak through the ceiling. Also the pool is cleaned twice a week so I will check to see what you are referring to with our pool guy. Thank you.

Perfection at its best!

Home was very conducive for large family. We had 8 adults and 5 kids, ages 6 to 12 and the home accommodation was perfect for our group. Still has the newness feel to the property. Situated between airport and Georgetown with ease of ingress and egress. Three home close to each other but with lush landscaping, we never felt the closeness. Highly recommend this property. Owner and concierge we readily available. Rate the property a 10.

Great Exuma option

The house was beautiful as pictures showed. Big windows to admire the beautiful blue water. It was stocked with kayaks, beach chairs, beach towels, water filtration system and more. You literally have access to the private beach and your own pool. We had 3 families - 15 people and plenty of room with the 5 bedrooms. Only real issues were the appliances - dryer kept timing out and wouldn’t dry our towels for hours and dishwasher didn’t always seem to run when we used it.

Gorgeous home. Looks better than the pics. Very comfortable and well appointed. The location was excellent The beach is pretty but small and disappears during high tide so it’s not usable for a good portion of the day if you need that. There are a lot of bugs on the island. Our whole crew got bit up by no see ums so pack the bug spray for sure. (That is not just this house but the whole island. ). Overall great stay and would come again.

David, Thanks for you review. The beach is now fully back since end of January. We lost it for the first time in 10 years during hurricane season this past October. Yes the no see ums are there when the wind is low. Fortunately the more you come to Exuma the less your body will react to the bugs:) See you again soon. Ralph

Texans love Seaclusion

We had a wonderful stay at Seaclusion. There were 4 adult couples and we never felt crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment including a blender. The beach access was perfect and we had the space all to ourselves. The beach felt private our entire week long trip. Beds and linens were great. The washer and dryer with the soap made it convenient to keep up with laundry. The concierge made booking excursions, a private chef and a rental absolutely painless. She was readily available throughout the trip including a second lesson on how to operate the patio screens which, by the way, were amazing in the evening with bug control. All the furnishing were cozy and comfortable for lounging both inside and out. We were just a few minutes from the airport and the main town for grocery runs and shopping which was very convenient.

The property was nice, it's off the main road Queens Highway via an unpaved dirt road. The house is a run down and the beds and linen were not as comfortable as I would have expected for a home at this price point. The water pressure in the showers was terrible. The beach area is very narrow but the water color is beautiful. There isn't much nearby so you will need a car or taxi to get anywhere. The concierge was very helpful. Groceries are EXPENSIVE!!!!! We were unable to work the TV or get their firestick connected so we could not watch much. Overall it wasn't terrible but not as nice as I anticipated based on the photos

Natalie, I am sorry to hear that it did not meet your expectation. The mattresses are high end mattresses along with the linens. Each person has different preferences but we have provided what the majority of people love. The water pressure is from the city water system and is very good and we will check the fixtures to see if there are any issues. Having the homes off the road by 900 feet allows for quiet and a new entrance is being completed in the new year. A car or taxi is required for the 2 min drive for groceries and 5 mins to restaurants. Or food services can be brought in. Groceries are more expensive than in the US since everything needs to be brought in by boat and is normal for all islands in the carribean. We had some problems with our wifi while you were there and may have caused some problems with the firestick but we now have direct Fiber Optics for Wifi it has solved any issues. Thanks. Ralph

Exuma vacation 2023

We rented the home for 7 nights with 3 families, a total of 13 of us. There was plenty of room and sleeping space was great. The 2 living rooms and screened in porch came in very handy as unfortunately it rained 4 solid days during our stay:( The beach access on this home (#3) was the best out of the 3 during high tide and was super clean and no seaweed around at all! Absolutely amazing. Had a charcoal ceramic grille on the patio. Things we didn't know but super handy was there is a closet filled with floaties, beach chairs, and beach toys! Also we purchased a ton of bottled water but they had a water filtration system you can refill in the kitchen. READ THIS.....I wished we knew and had been told but the sand fleas!!!! are terrible near the beach and the mesquites get bad in the evening. This was on the whole island and not sure if it just had to do with all the rain that week. Get Deep Woods bug spray, it seemed to work. Locals said use baby oil as well. You will thank me for this! Don't depend on the WIFI 24/7. it worked for 2 days and the whole island was down the rest of our trip! Overall was an awesome place to stay and centrally located and easy to get to town.

Thank you for your detailed review and noting the extra items that are in the house. It is unfortunate that it rained during your stay. The rain would have affected and proliferated the bugs. I hope the screened in porch was handy to have so you could enjoy the outdoors at dusk. The WIFI was just upgraded on the island and we are one of the first to have Fiber wifi. It has been very stable but the heavy rains must have found some week spots in the new system on the island. They have done repairs since. Seabatical June vacation

This home is just as described in the VRBO listing. It is beautifully set close to the beach with a view that makes you want to wake up there permanently. Having such a nice pool to take a dip in after the beach was key for our kids. My family would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful villa!

We had a fabulous time celebrating my 40th birthday at Seabatical! The villa is truly incredible and just as described - perfect for multiple couples or families. The location is close to many restaurants and grocery stores. The pool and beach were perfect, and we would certainly stay here again. Ayana, the concierge, helped us book a private boat tour one day that was wonderful. She also helped us book a chef one night, but I was not very impressed with the quality of food provided. We enjoyed our meals out more. Grill House at Grand Isle was our favorite!
