This beautiful vacation home offers luxury and comfort, while still embracing the laid back lifestyle of Exuma. Enjoy the amenities of this modern beach house while gazing at views of turquoise waters from every room. The open floor plan features 22 ft high ceilings in the Great Room.

Seaglass Beach House is in a prime location right in the middle of highly coveted Tar Bay. Enjoy daily walks along 2 miles of pristine white sand and shallow waters of Tar Bay. The crystal waters are ideal for snorkeling and there is a reef to explore just steps down the beach. While relaxing on the covered veranda or lounging on the sun deck you'll enjoy watching boats passing by on their way to Elizabeth Harbour.

The main house has 2700 square feet of living space and plank floors creating a beach vibe. The round dining table seats 8 and is perfect for an island meal or after dinner card game. The modern kitchen features a 10' center island with beautiful white granite counter tops and additional seating for 3. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end stainless steel appliances. The main floor also includes a powder room and laundry room for your convenience.

The home offers four Master Suites, three in the main house and the spacious Casita Suite is above the detached garage. Two Master Suites on the main floor feature king-size beds, en suite baths, dual sinks, showers, walk in closets and private access to the beach veranda. The second floor Loft Suite is fully enclosed and offers a view of the bay, king bed, en suite bathroom with shower.

The 565 square foot Casita Suite is located above the detached garage and includes a sitting room, king-size bed and en suite bathroom with dual sinks and a shower. A kitchenette is available for stays of one month or longer.

Please note that we allow a maximum of 8 adults during your stay. There is an additional cleaning fee for children.

The house features an outstanding outdoor living space with 700 square feet of covered veranda overlooking the beach. The large sun deck is the perfect place to soak up the sun and cool off with your favorite Bahamian beverage. Take a quick rinse in the surf board beach shower after a refreshing swim or returning from a walk down the beach. An outdoor gas grill and large dining table are great for entertaining. It is the perfect place to watch the stars in the evening sky or listening to the waves rolling in on the beach.

The home is cooled by central air-conditioning and ceiling fans for your comfort. You will find all the modern technology you need to stay connected, including wireless internet and Smart TV’s. We have a new 45KW whole house generator with an automatic transfer switch so your trip won’t be interrupted by power outages on the island.

The house is located on Tar Bay in Silver Beach Estates, lot 35, between the International Airport and George Town, central to all activities on the island. Use of 2 two person kayaks, 2 paddle boards, snorkeling gear, life jackets and beach towels are all included. Stroll along the two miles of private beach occupied only by Tar Bay homeowners and guests. Like having your own private island, you are often the only one on the beach.

A short 8 minute drive east you will find the charming and friendly village of George Town. Visit the local straw market, charming boutiques and grocery market where you will find everything you need for preparing meals. Exuma provides a unique cultural experience. Don't expect casinos, fast food restaurants and designer shopping here. This is a low key, laid back island with none of the hustle and bustle of cruise ship ports and tourist destinations.

To fully enjoy Exuma you must get out on the water. Rent a boat, or hire an experienced captain to explore the Exuma Cays. Don't forget to visit Coco Plum beach to hunt for sand dollar treasures. Another must do is hanging out at the Chat N Chill beach bar. A water taxi from the Government Dock will take you to Stocking island, home of the Chat N Chill, where you'll meet yachties, visitors and locals. Enjoy freshly made conch salad and cold Sands or Kalik beer or frozen cocktail.

Great Exuma International Airport (GGT) is easily accessible on direct flights from Nassau, Miami, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, and Toronto, Canada. There are several flights from Nassau to Exuma daily. Private plane charters can also be arranged.
