Seaside Snug at Inn of the Sea

A second floor end unit makes this cozy suite bright. Our space provides beautiful ocean views with the ocean only steps away. Great for winter storm watching or for exploring the calm warm seas of summer. Watch for whales, seals, sea lions and otters swimming by, or look to the air for eagles soaring and kingfishers diving, a true nature lovers delight.
A kitchenette in this unit provides you with all the necessities to prepare meals , or head to The Crow & Gate for a pint and great food at an old English style pub. A full size bathroom with ample linens & towels, living space with a queen size bed, cable TV & wifi will provide you with the comforts of home while away.
The outdoor balcony provides extra living space and the unit is well situated close to 2 of the 3 BBQ areas and the waterfront pool. Pack the cooler provided and enjoy drinks by the fire or grab a floatie and head to the pool.
Inn of the Sea also offers a tennis court, children’s play area, and coin operated laundry facilities.
Our private seasonal dock allows moorage for boats under 30’, or tie up to one of our buoys. Launch a kayak from our shoreline or fish off the dock, a great location for the water enthusiast.

Cozy & Quiet

A great 3-night stay!Cute & snug layout, fully equipped for a self-sustained stay (no oven, but the air fryer baked our deep-dished pie perfectly), full sized tub & shower, soft bed next to ocean views off the balcony. Sizeable warmed pool with a true deep end, and a ‘hot’ hot tub on timed jets, set just above the shoreline. We’ll keep an eye on availability here for a return trip!

A wonderful weekend get-away!

Just as described, clean and wonderful location. The ocean view was a delight as we hadn't known how much we would see being in the "building in the back". It was the cutest little room with everything we needed, the pool was refreshing, and exploring the shore was great. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

Genevieve was very easy to communicate with, our check in instructions were very easy to follow and our suite was wonderful. It was light and airy, has a beautiful view of the ocean. We usually went down to the dock for the sunrise but one day we watched from our patio. Absolutely stunning. The suite contained everything we needed to make our own meals and thoughtful add ons such as beach towels and beach chairs, and a throw blanket came in super handy during a cooler evening. Thank you so much for being a part of our vacation. It was relaxing and rejuvenating. We loved every aspect of our stay

A hidden Gem

A quiet and relaxing get away. The grounds are well maintained with a beautiful oceanfront view. The pool and jacuzzi are an added bonus. The studio had everything I needed and the bed was so comfy!

Mother daughter trip

First time using VRBO. It was amazing, beautiful and everyone around was so friendly. Genevieve was easy to get a hold of if needed. Will definitely try and book yearly!

Inn at the Sea

We had a lovely 4 night stay. The unit is fantastic. It was quite noisy during the day with construction next door, and for the first two nights the kids and adults were up partying until around 1130pm but otherwise the unit and surroundings are great!

A lovely place

This is a small but perfectly set up apartment for two. The decor is pleasant and restful, the kitchen equipped for simple meals, and all was comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoyed the view of the ocean. Highly recommended.

Wonderful

Great little suite. Clean, well-stocked kitchen, good sized bathroom, comfy bed. A hidden gem of a location. We made use of the resort activities, (outdoor games, pool, hot tub, fire pit and dock). We were lucky and saw several orcas in the ocean! A perfect place to get away for the long weekend.

The VRBO owners left very easy instructions with a code. Easy to find the complex and the suite. The suite is fully stocked, very comfortable Queen bed. Lots of closet space and storage space for all your things. Smaller fridge but with a separate freezer in it which held our ice and ice PACs easily. The suite was located close to pool and has great views. When we contacted owners they responded quickly which we appreciated. The cell service was weak but the wifi was perfect. A great family vacation, the complex’s is full of families enjoying the grounds and amenities.BBQs on site came in handy for doing up our steaks and smokies

Studio with a view

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Location is quiet & beautiful. If you have kayaks or SUPs, this is an ideal place to stay; condos are tucked into a little bay. Our studio was well-appointed (quite amazing considering that it's a wee little place!) with a comfortable bed & balcony seating. I was impressed with the thoughtful touches such as a soft-sided cooler and beach chairs. If you have mobility issues, it may be tough to get up to the second floor. Pool/shore access is paved. The hostess was marvelous! Thank you so much! We can't wait to come back.

Girls getaway

Our stay exceeded our expectations for a girls getaway to celebrate my friend's 35th birthday. The corner unit condo was perfect for two people; the overall space was well laid out with two chairs, two stools to eat at the island, the bed was so comfortable with a view of the ocean, and the balcony was spacious where you could also enjoy the beautiful view. The grounds are well kept and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub even during cloudy days. When the tide is out its the perfect time to do some beachcombing and explore a good distance around the resort. All this and an absolutely amazing host that was quick with communication and a well stocked condo. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back

Ocean front getaway 🌊

We really enjoyed our stay . We didnt realize that the suite is in a family oriented resort. So this time of year is busy . Will have to come back in the off season.

Our Stay

We had an awesome time at the resort…. Our unit was what we expected. The gardens and grounds are very well cared for… The pool was a welcome area and we made good use of it …. The bbq area was convenient with ample seating while you we’re waiting for your food to cook….a nice place to talk to other guests. The laundry facilities were appreciated. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider booking another stay in the future.

I'm a registered nurse working at Royal Jubilee Hospital, married to a musician. We grew up on Vancouver Island and after living in Toronto for a few years returned west in 2002 to live in Victoria. We weren't sure if we'd stay... but it doesn't really get any better than the west coast of Canada. Camping in remote areas on the island or travelling abroad, we like to have adventures. When Covid slowed us down I got creative and found this gem of a property.

My husband works part time at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo and he dreamed of less commuting. So when I saw this listing... it looked too good to be true. We booked a viewing and the pictures didn't do it justice. It's a dream come true owning a vacation property on the water. Inn of the Sea provides a community vibe with friendly neighbours and guests who are happy to be there to enjoy the beautiful 3.5 acre private oceanfront property. So we took a big gamble and hope to make it work by sharing our haven with you.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The hot tub is open year round and the swimming pool overhanging the ocean is heated seasonally. The large dock provides boat moorage or a great place to dive off into the warm waters of Stuart Channel. Lots of places to hike nearby or enjoy the 3.5 acres of private oceanfront property at Inn of the Sea. Lounge on the lawn, float in the pool, or grab a racket for a game of tennis at our private court. Friendly neighbours & guests are often found at the beachfront fire pit enjoying happy hour.
