Great Location

The property was as advertised. Very secluded location with plenty to do on the property. Shopping was less than 15 minutes away to get essentials. Other than that their is no need to leave. Will definitely stay again

Wonderful stay!!

This property is amazing! We had the best stay with our kids and puppy. The surrounding nature is beautiful, we had a great time hiking and fishing at the lake. Our chocolate lab was in doggy heaven too! Hope to be back very soon. :)

Beautiful property!

Lovely home and gorgeous property. We had access to the entire private lake. Great view from the fire table and hot tub. Downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Only complaint is that it’s a little hard to sleep with the upstairs bedrooms directly over the downstairs bedrooms and they are in very close proximity. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Family vacation

This home is spectacular! Beautiful views and the home is fantastic. We were very impressed with the master bedroom shower and the hottub on the deck was wonderful and all the beds are extremely comfortable. This home is very clean. The only thing we would add is a few lamps in the livingroom and bedside lights and a card table for games and puzzles . Thank you Anne!

Wonderful Long Weekend

Anne was great! We had a hiccup before check-in because CENTRAL time and Anne was all over it! The place is spotless. We heard wild turkeys and saw an oriole. We hid eggs all over the front of the property for Easter. There were plenty of extra towels, toilet paper, spices, coffee, chocolates and sugar. We will be back when the water is warmer. Can’t wait to swim!!

Refreshing Retreat

The pictures of the property on here are beautiful but seeing it in person is amazing. We spent so much time on the deck in awe of the view everyday. Because of all the amenities provided for the lake we were able to have fun right away with kayaking and fishing. There is also a deck with a ladder for swimming. It was so serene and made us feel connected with nature again. The property feels safe with a large gate and lock keeping the entry to the drive secure and a large front yard for the kids to play in away from the edge of the cliff. Roasting marshmallows around the large and sturdy fire table set and relaxing in the hot tub with massaging jets and lights was a favorite at night. Its about an 8 minute drive to get to a Dollar General, gas station, and a variety of fast food. The things that were provided on hand were so thoughtful and in 3 full days we only ever left for groceries and a pizza because the property was so much fun. We are already talking about planning our next booking here and miss it already.

Uniquely beautiful and serene location

One of the most unique properties we have ever stayed. This beautiful lake is a former limestone quarry which is spring fed. This makes the water clear, Caribbean blue, and a bit chilly for swimming due to the depth. We were told it is up to 40 ft deep in spots. This makes for incredible fishing. Our family had lots of fun bringing in 3-5 lb bass with some cheap Walmart poles along with blue gill and sunfish. Beds were comfortable and the home is stylishly decorated. The people staying in the loft have to shower in one of the downstairs bedrooms but we made it work. We were happy to discover a Walmart about 7 miles away. Walmart has delivery available for groceries and Door Dash is available for some local places also. Great place to stay for a quiet and relaxing fishing trip. Kayaks (provided) were fun to use for fishing or just tooling around the beautiful lake. Best suited for families with teens or young to middle age adults.

Couples Bourbon Trail Getaway

Our stay at tranquility was just that, tranquil. This property is just stunning inside and out! This house is one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed at. If you are looking for relaxation and fishing/fishing right from your backyard, this is the place for you! We went for the bourbon trail, and we felt it was too far of a drive to visit many distilleries(2hr drive one way each day). We would stay here again if we weren’t trying to hit distilleries. The communication overall was good, even though there was a mishap with the gate entry. The owners called me back almost immediately though and it was quickly resolved! The kitchen is well stocked with cookware. They provided coffee pods and propane for the gas fire ring on the deck. We had four couples and there was plenty of room for the eight adults to enjoy our time. The fire table was a wonderful surprise! Suggestions: A privacy curtain/door would be nice in the loft areas as well as a pulley system for baggage. Rearrange the cover of the hot tub so that it doesn’t separate the hot tub from the seating area. We would have utilized the tub more had it been possible to visit with the people sitting outside the hot tub.

Good for a relaxing vacation

We stayed for 3 nights in mid-March and overall we really enjoyed it. We weren't blown away when we pulled up (house looks really bland, fence/gate looks like you're pulling up to a prison lol), but once we got inside and to the deck thats when we got excited. The inside was extremely clean and the owners go the extra step of leaving lots of toiletries, snacks and other goodies. The shower in the main bedroom was SO GOOD! I took full advantage of it with some extra long, hot showers. The cabin is small, but perfect for us. The deck with hot tub overlooking the lake down below was the best part. We loved the large firetable with room to put a drink out or put your feet up while the fire is going. The hot tub was large! We've stayed in so many VRBO's (always with a hot tub) and this one was definitely a better size than most. I wish the cover when stood up was on a different side so it didnt obstruct any of the view, but that certainly wasnt a big deal. As soon as we arrived we took a walk down to the other side of the lake and were blown away with how beautiful, serene and private it was. There's a large pier as well as a big gazebo to hang out underneath. We didn't fish but could see lots of big ones that made us want to drive to WalMart to get some rods. The one disappointment for us was that there is absolutely nothing to do in the area. Once we realized that we just decided to stay in for the most part and enjoy the cabin/property. We would go again!

Perfect family retreat

we were pleasantly surprised to realize we had the whole lake, dock and canoes all to ourselves. Safe, comfortable. The kids had fun exploring the lake on the canoes (provided) and the paddle boards we brought along. The house had 5 life jackets provided. Would love to come back.

Beautiful

Would definitely stay again. This property was amazingly beautiful and perfect for our family/friend getaway. We were perfect distance from both Green River and Lake Cumberland. The view is breathtaking. After a long day on the lake it was nice to come home and sit around the fire pit to unwind. Don't pass this property up!

Beautiful Get away

Wonderful relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful visit. Very secluded but a wonderful spot for relaxation and spending time with family. Anne went above and beyond in communication when we had questions. The hot tub/deck and private lake area was where we spent all our time. Would definitely recommend this place and we are looking forward to going back in the future

Relaxing Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The private lake was a joy to kayak with the provided equipment and paddleboard (we brought our own). Lots of birds to watch off of the deck, and fish to see in the water. The sunsets off the deck, walking the property, coffee on the deck in the morning and card games with the fire at night. It was great. The home and property is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. We had an issue with the air conditioning units in the loft bedrooms, but Anne and Jerry helped us. My points of caution would be the ladders to the lofts. My teenagers had no issues, but not sure about how well younger children would handle these. Also, the bed in the main bedroom is very high. My mother could not get in the bed. The other bed is lower and that one worked for her. I can imagine others with hip, back or strength issue may also have trouble with the main bed if they are under 6 foot.

Relaxation at its best

We had a wonderful stay! Wished we could have stayed longer. It was truly relaxing. The hot tub, gas fire pit, and the lake views were favorites. The house is incredibly charming and clean. The property is outside of town, which made it peaceful. There are four twin beds in upper lofts that you have to climb a ladder to get to (two in either side of the house), which wasn’t a problem for us, but something to think about depending on people in your group. We would definitely return!

Beautiful property and very well maintained cabin. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway with the family for fishing and relaxing. The private lake with that view makes it worth every penny. We will be back.

Amazing, relaxing getaway

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better place to relax for our anniversary. This property is absolutely beautiful, and the cabin is so clean. We spent our time kayaking around the water, laying out on the dock, cooling off in the water, repeat. Anne was very helpful with any questions we had. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Great family escape

Absolutely one of the best family vacations ever. House was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. I one shower is completely unbelievable. Outdoor activities were a lot off fun, from exploring the property to kayaking the lake. Lake was as clear as a clean glass of water. The only thing I would change would be to add extra seating in the living room. One last thing is our fur babies really enjoyed it too.

This was brilliant

Honestly I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The owners were amazing and kind, their place was more than we expected, and the area around the cabin was absolutely perfect for the kids. We will be back for sure!!!
