Overall, we had a great stay! The house was very clean. There were a few times I texted the support number and didn't get assistance, which was frustrating. Overall, would stay here again!

Another great weekend.

Thanks for the stay. Sorry the fish were not biting but the kids had fun trying to catch them. Enjoy the abundance of wood for the fire pit! Great evenings with s’mores.

Love-LOVE-LLLLLove - I wish I could move this house to my property and live in it!

We loved being on the outskirts of town away from all the hustle and bustle. Getting to stay in peace and quiet was the Ultimate Relaxation for us! However, with a short drive, we still had access to everything. We stayed the week of Christmas! As an extra bonus, we arrived to a nice decorated Christmas tree in the living room. The house was large enough that we never felt cramped. I like all the designated rooms for us to spread out! The farmhouse style decor was warm and welcoming. There was firewood ready for the fireplace! We didn’t catch anything in the pond but it was fun to go throw the line out while the neighbors horses and donkey came to greet us at the fence! If we are ever in Dallas again, we WILL stay here again!

What a retreat!!!!

AMAZING!!!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would do it ALL over again!! It was my daughter’s wedding weekend and the house accommodations were on point!! The time we needed to prepare and also escape in the movie room or on the beautiful premises was JUST what we needed to relax and get some good rest. We saw some wildlife and fished in pond. Just what we were hoping for in our stay!! Thank you!!!

Family gathering for graduation

We enjoyed the home The pictures provided of the homeinside was grest the outside grounds very disappointing we had family actives planned for outdoors like Kickball, wiffle ball etc But the grass was too high to play any of that The pictures you advertise does not show it like that. We would definitely stay there again as long as we are assured that the gounds a cared for.

Family fishing fun

We had a great time with our family staying over Labor Day weekend. Lots of room in the house. Our grandsons (age 4&5) enjoyed the bunk beds. Our granddaughter (age 1) was very happy in the pack n play. The beds for adults were comfy as well. Tye media room was perfect for movies and watching foot ball! The kids enjoyed the hot tub, hiking adventures, roasting marshmallows and being outdoors. But most of all they enjoyed their very first fishing!! Both boys caught fish on their first cast into the pond!! We grilled burgers and enjoyed family meals around the big dining table. Appreciate the roominess of the house. Great trip for all envolved.

We wanted to love this property, but it was obvious it wasnt taken care of. Day of check in we noticed the grass around the house was entirely too high, red wasps claimed a spot every 10 foot or so around the roof and the swing, photographs of the property were outdated, the pond is not close to an acre and severly neglected and a bag of rotten garbage was left in the garage. After making a grocery order for 4 days of food to feed 11 people, we discovered the refrigerator was not cooling. Contacted the manager and had to call back multiple times for an update on fixing the problem. While waiting for an answer, we discovered one of the AC units did not have power. We called back to inform the POC for the property but the calls went unanswered. It was not until i emailed the property manager that i received a text from the POC advising someone would respond. After the AC was fixed and the mini refrigerator arrived, we attempted to relax in the hot tub only to find the breaker would trip if the jets were turned on. Frustrated with the day we attempted to put the kids down to bed and discovered the toliet in the bunk room would only flush when it wanted to. Over all it was painfully obvious no one checks the property prior to renters arriving. If it were not for Mr Calvin, the grass would not have been cut nor would we have had a mini refrigerator to hold what cold food we could shove into it. Mr calvin went above and beyond to check on us and apologize for the inconveniences.

Beautiful home and property

Kids loved the theater room and exploring the property. Beds were comfy. However the attention to detail wasn't there. The hot tub smelled and was cold when we arrived, required a reset and a few treatments of spa conditioner to fix. The master shower didn't drain. There was no propane, which we called about and thankfully it was credited back to us the cost, but we had to go get it. There was an empty wine bottle under the second master room. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but these things were frustrating and had us wondering how clean it really was.

Thanksgiving

Check-in process was poor - given a door code that did not work. Turns out we needed to hit the LOCK button after entering the 4 digit code. This was not stated in the check-in email. Tried to call the contact person at the listed phone number multiple times - no answer - leave a message. This doesn't help much when you are standing at the front door trying to get in. Finally got a callback - turn out this property uses a property management company, so you aren't talking to the OWNER - they have to call the owner to get clarification if there are issues. Wifi network did not show up on my phone (as the check-in instructions said it would). We finally found the router and used the default password. These kind of minor problems are not acceptable in my opinion. The house and property are fine - a little older, but we knew that based on the pictures.

3rd time staying!

We’ve stayed at this property 3 different times. We have an NFL draft watch party with around 8 adults and 2 kids. This is a fantastic house and we love coming back each year!We love the location and the amenities that the house offers. It fits our event and our group perfectly! The big theater room is where we spend most of our time, but we also love the pool table and the hot tub!Full disclosure - we did have some trouble this year when we checked in. We arrived at 4:30p and the house was still being cleaned. Then we discovered that the internet was not working and that the projector in the theater room wasn’t hitting the screen (mis-aligned). Thankfully, we own a smart home company and so we were able to diagnose the problems with the WiFi and we also had a ladder and zip ties to help align the projector. I’d recommend this property hiring an IT contact who can check and fix issues on the fly, because had we not been the renters in this situation, I don’t expect that either problem would have been solved.One more note - the hot tub is great, but the control board needs an update badly. It’s the same control board that has been there each year we have been, and it doesn’t work 100% of the time. One year, we were instructed to flip the breaker to reset the control board, so that is what we do when it doesn’t work. Either way, it’s time for a replacement.Altogether, great trip. We plan on returning next year, we just hope these few things could be addressed to make the stay even better!

The host was very responsive and helpful. The house was spotlessly clean and well supplied with high quality linens and towels. The floor plan was great for our group of 11 with 4 small children. There was plenty of room to be together or to have your own space. We would definitely recommend this great house and property.

Close to wedding venue

My son was getting married at The Springs so we rented this property and it was absolutely perfect for my husband and two other grown children, their spouses and my 3 grandchildren. Spacious, beautiful, very comfortable and we loved staying here instead of driving back to Dallas before and after the wedding!! Highly recommend!!

Awesome and fun local stay!!

Me and some friends live in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area and decided to do a local staycation instead rather than our normal trip to Beaver's Bend in Broken Bow. That's when we came across this property in Pilot Point. From the time we arrived to the time we left, our stay was amazing!! The house is gorgeous and so, so spacious!! The home was equipped with everything we needed. No need or want for anything. The home theater with stadium seating was truly a bonus and game changer. We spent half a day in there and it was so relaxing. Mr. Douglas is a super host! He communicated effectively and promptly. If there was an issue or concern, he made sure to respond quickly and had the matter resolved immediately and without interruption. Thank you Mr. Douglas. Take the time and come visit. You won't regret it. We'll definitely be back!!

Great house, area and communication!

This house is fantastic, beautiful, spacious and offers plenty to do. Lots of kitchen items for cooking meals, games and dvd’s for the theatre room with Smart TV, hot tub, hammocks outside and land to roam. Beautiful sunrises over the pond. Very spacious homes and rooms, plenty of bathrooms, reading nooks, and rooms to congregate in or go to to separate areas for break out sessions! Great communication between Property management with checkin and checkout and entire reservation process. Highly recommend Evolve and highly recommend this property. We expect to return using both!
