Built in the 1910s and remodeled over the years, Greeley Gardens has a spacious area to hangout inside and out. Inside are 2 large bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a large TV on a maneuverable wall mount. The beds, rugs, and furniture are high quality and go along with the charm of the property.

Outside there is plenty of shaded area and patio space to enjoy year round relaxation, and if you like a meal. The property is in an eclectic Montrose neighborhood minutes away from some of Houston's top restaurants, museums, and parks. Also near Rice University, University of St. Thomas, and the Texas Medical Center.

nice location, affordable

The 1930's house was the perfect location for our needs, and the price was right. I cooked several meals in the kitchen which was why I wanted a house instead of a hotel. It had typical older house issues with temperature controls and water temp./pressure but nothing extra-ordinary, although I imagine it would be very cold in the winter. Walls were thin but we got up early so the street noise was not a big problem although the floor above might get noisy if the noisy people stayed there. I would stay there again.

Great location close to everything and truly a peaceful property. Parking was a little tricky but besides that we had a blast!

Perfect!

Charming place, lovely stay for a visit with family. Terrific location, wonderful neighborhood with many restaurants, short walk to the Menil and MFA, excellent communication, delightful outdoor space for relaxing.

Good Location

The space met our needs. We could not park in the driveway which was inconvenient. Property is clean and beds are comfortable. There is a lot of street noise and the blinds don’t adequately block the light from street lamps outside.

Awesome vintage house

Houston was amazing. This house is close to everything. We skate boarded Buffalo bayou trails . Went downtown for a festival. It was awesome.

Quiet Retreat

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable vacation home in Houston’s historic district. It was very spacious and clean and furnished with antiques. We appreciated how quiet and restful this home was, but convenient for visiting Houston. The property manager quickly responded to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Vintage Houston, Great Restaurants

Vintage Houston house, downstairs two bedroom of a 2 or 3 story home. Felt like a house to yourself. Fantastic location for Montrose/Westheimer restaurants. Neigborhood was nice especially for mid-town/downtown. Car parking inside a security gate. A little sketchy walking to the light rail, especially thru the underpass with lots of vagrants… light rail is convenient to NRG but again Houston is a bit out of control right now with people on the street and on the rail. This vrbo was great, especially if using Uber or have a car. Pretty garden courtyard. Near everything! Would definitely stay here again.

The only reason I gave this property a 5 is because I couldn’t give it a 10. Fabulous location. Excellent communication with the managers and beautiful friendly neighborhood. I will stay here again!

A quiet garden oasis in the heart of the city

What a wonderful property! This rental is the downstairs unit of a large, beautiful home in one of the best neighborhoods in the city. It’s close to everything that makes Houston great..parks, restaurants, museums, live music. It is comfortable, quiet, and impeccably clean. The front porch and quaint outdoor area is a huge bonus. It truly is a garden oasis in the heart of the city, and I can’t wait to go back!
