Everything was super good during our stay. The only thing that would improve is the heating of the pool since it was very, very cold! When I informed the owner, he told me that from May to September the heating was not available! nor for the jacuzzi that generally the jacuzzi is hot water.

Holiday Getaway

Beautiful home! Exactly as pictured. Perfect to relax in after a day at DisneyWorld. Equipped with everything we needed. The resort is convenient to DisneyWorld. Would recommend and hope to stay again

Dog hair all over furniture in living room.

Dog hair covered the furniture in living room. Cleaning person showed up and spent a good hour vacuuming the furniture. Much better now. Not enough towels for the number of people. Other than that so far so good. Can’t seem to get WiFi. 4 1/2 stars.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. There were some issues with the cleanliness of the house, and the beehives with bees attacking when we entered and left the front door but, the property manger did take care of it. If the cleaning people do their job correctly, it would be amazing!

Great house! The beds can be larger for my taste, we sleep in King size at home. Otherwise great location and everyone very friendly. Jacuzzi can use a cleaning.

Best get away ever!

This property is gorgeous. I enjoyed waking up every morning to the sound of water…pool! The bedrooms were nicely decorated and clean! We had three adults and five teenagers. The kids had a great time in the game room and pool. I would definitely book with them again! I think the only thing that changed was the cost of the parking. My family had a great time!

First trip

This was our first family florida trip, I did a lot of research in finding a home fitting for us. It was a really nice place, beautiful location, convenient, our own pool and lots of space, but cleanliness was an issue. There were bugs everywhere, on the counters and everything. We couldn’t leave anything on any surfaces or it would’ve been swarmed. The home seemed like it was “tidied” more so than “cleaned.” The host didn’t answer us once we were checked in. Had to go through loops and loops to get the bbq code… But overall we had a great trip and the house was really nice. They just need to work on some communication and making sure everything is up to par.

Relaxing vacation

Liked that the house was in a gated community. Check in at gate house went smoothly since I had all the required paperwork. House was nice, liked the kitchen. Kitchen had all the necessary appliances and most utensils needed to make stay enjoyable. Cooked several meals and had pots and pans but knives could have been sharper since I had to cut up vegetables and was difficult with what was provided. House had a great pool and heated jacuzzi which we enjoyed daily. Had some issues with the jacuzzi jets the first day and was able to contact rental company via email with issue. Maintenance came by the next day and fixed with no issues. Read other reviews that stated that the easiest way to communicate with rental company was via email and I would say that is correct as I also called but did not receive any callback. My only issues would be the beds and game room. The master bedroom's bed was way too soft for my comfort. Was told the other beds were the same, either too soft or too hard. The game room is in a converted garage and pool table is not level which the pool players of the family noticed right away. Had missing ping pong balls so was unable to play that table game. Washer and dryer are also in game room and washer had some rust around bleach dispenser but was a lifesaver as I used multiple times during stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Family Vacation

The property was very clean and was exactly as it was pictured. I felt very safe in the gated community. It was very easy to access the property. We the location was perfect. It was not too far from the parks or the airport. We really enjoyed our stay. Only thing that I could complain about was the lock to one of the bathrooms didn’t work properly but it didn’t effect our stay.

Disney Family Vacation

Great house and location to Disney Parks was super convenient. Also right next to a Walmart and numerous fast food choices. House was clean and pool heat was a plus. I only gave 4 stars because I believe the air conditioner unit is not adequate for that size house. The air would only cool to about 75 degrees and that was in December with windows covered and all doors closed. I could not imagine how hot the house would be in the summer months. With a house full of people it gets extra hot especially when everyone is trying to get ready and shower. Also if you turn the air down below 72 the unit will freeze up according to the property manager which I believe shouldn’t happen on a properly functioning unit.

Clean and Spacious

This house was very clean and the resort is very well maintained. The pictures are exactly as shown. Communication was best through the VRBO app and we would get responses within an hour. The phone contact was difficult to get someone. Two things to take into consideration: 1) Each vehicle in your party needs to purchase $20 gate card when you arrive and 2) Traffic on US-192 (Irlo Bronson Hwy), the main way to get to the parks, is always congested, so be patient. All that being said, I can recommend this property without hesitation and will book it again for my next family trip.

Disney Trip

Overall, the property and home were as described in the listing. My biggest issue was communication with the property owners. Upon arriving I realize I never received the email with check-in instructions. I called the office and left voicemails, sent an email, and tried contacted the company through the booking app. Finally someone emailed me back (not called) to tell me to check my spam folder for the email. I again called the office and left voicemails, emailed, and replied on the booking app to state that I didn’t have an email in any of my folders and asked if they could please just send me the check-in instructions. Finally, after leaving a voicemail on the maintenance line, a maintenance person called me back. They were less than helpful and skeptical about the fact that I was checking in too early. It was around 2 PM and check-in is 4 PM . I never stated I was checking in early I just simply needed the instructions. The maintenance person said that she would contact someone else. So then, an office personnel called me after about an hour and she again was overly concerned about the fact that I was trying to check in early. I finally received the email with the instructions and hour and a half later. Once we got to the home there were issues with the pool and again I called the office, left voicemails, and nobody ever return my phone call. I do think someone did come to clean the pool because it was magically cleaner one day after returning from the parks, but no one ever return my phone call. I would’ve told them that the pool light is broken. We had two small children with us, and they were not able to swim at night because of it. This was sort of a big deal because we did the Disney parks during the day and wanted to use the pool in the evening after the long days, but we weren’t able to after dark. I am literally never one to complain or write these reviews but the lack of communication really impacted our stay and I hate that because it was just very frustrating to spend so much and get so little of a response or concern in return. I suggest you all have a weekend crew to better handle check-ins and issues on the weekends.

Enjoyed the Emerald Island Resort House

Great house in a large very nice Gated Community - Emerald Island. Our family enjoyed the openness of the floor plan and privacy for family members in the 5 bedroom house. Nice pool / hot tub & patio area with comfortable seating all within a large pool enclosure. Also enjoyed the carpeted game room in the re-purposed garage. While our week was slightly challenged with hurricane Ian & some inconveniences, overall the storm did not impact our enjoyment to much of the house, local area & a family wedding/reception at the Marriott World Center a couple days after the storm. Communication with the owner/PM went well on a couple specific items and we even made some suggestions to enhance ongoing rentals. Definitely would rent this house again.

Great location for everything

This place was clean and spacious for the family. The boys love the game room. We had a great time in this home. The pool was great. My daughter enjoyed it every much. Also, the home was close to Walmart and most fast food restaurants. Will definitely booked this home again we coming to Orlando.

The home was exceptionally clean and accommodated our family’s stay. My issues were the long response time from the host. First my welcome packet wasn’t sent until I contacted them first. Also, I emailed them at 2:50 pm to inquire about using the bbq grill(which was chained with a combination lock). The host didn’t respond until 11 pm. Need to do a better job of including all info needed in the welcome packet.

Honestly I think this was one of the best experiences. The owner of the house was really nice and kind. When we got there everything was so clean and nothing was out of place. I would totally come again! Overall, it was a 11/10 experience! Totally recommend!!!!

Good property, some issues

Great location, nice heated pool, plenty of space for 8, was clean. The mattress in the third queen bed should be updated. We had a few issues during our two week stay that were reported through emails to the property manager but were resolved. They responded quickly but with vague answers on when it would be taken care of. A printed, and updated, information booklet in the property would be helpful. Overall, the family and our dog, had a good time.
