Benny's Retreat is a property of exceptional quality, nestled in natural bush surrounds both quiet and inviting, Kangaroos & wild deer are regular visitors, birdlife is abundant.
Just a 10 minute drive (or taxi) to the fabulous restaurants and cafe's in the main street of Clare.
Entertainment is mostly unplugged with a range of books, magazines and board games. Unlimited WiFi & a wireless bluetooth Bose speaker, wood fire and plentiful breakfast provisions ensure your stay is unforgettable.

Beautiful house in a lovely bushland setting in a great location to explore the Clare Valley wineries. Lots of lovely little extras to make the stay wonderful.

Fabulous, modern, peaceful retreat

Spacious & extremely well appointed modern 3 bedroom house in a quiet bushland setting. Spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen & laundry. Living spaces were very comfortable with beautiful views & sunsets. Resident kangaroos also put in an appearance.

Wonderfully, peaceful getaway.

Very spacious, well appointed home. You feel likeyou’re in the middle of nowhere, but things are close by. We did not miss having a tv, there wereplenty of books in the house.

First rate accommodation

High quality accommodation. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast provisions were generous. The location was really relaxing and so quiet yet convenient to Clare and its attractions.

Friends Getaway

Fabulous weekend getaway enhanced by great, well appointed accommodation. Loved the original part of the home and the thoughtful extension with beautiful stonework and welcoming combustion fire. The bushland surrounds are beautiful, peaceful and a wonderful way to take in the start of each day.

Luved Benny's

A fabulous location, quiet bushland, no barking dogs, no passing traffic just serenity. How was great, all mod cons and well provisioned for our three night stay. Sue was always contactable and we much appreciated her attention to her guests need in a friendly and amicable manner. We could not fault Benny's Retreat and will stay again. Also the Watervale Hotel is a great spot for a long lunch.

Perfect escape

Beautiful property hidden away for a relaxing few days! Very generous house owner leaving a little amount of stuff for breakfast. We loved it, hope to have another excuse to come back another time

Beautiful house with gorgeous comfy bedding

We had a lovely stay, a beautiful house with lovely bedding. We misread that the property had no TV but we kept busy and a small microwave would be handy because we like to cook and stayed in most nights. The breakfast supplied was fantastic and most appriciated. Thank you Sue
