This is a wonderful apartment located one street back from the popular waterfront dining along Belconnen’s foreshore. The unit’s biggest draw is its expansive balcony with barbecue, lounge seating and panoramic vistas of Lake Ginninderra. It also has open-plan living and dining rooms with lake views, along with a well-equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower bath. You’re a short walk from shopping and dining at Westfield Belconnen and surrounded by lakeside parks.
The Space:
This is a spacious apartment with wood floors and stunning lake views through sliding glass doors. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, while the open-plan living and dining rooms include a chandeliered dining table and in-home entertainment. They open onto a sprawling balcony with a barbecue and lounge seating. Both bedrooms have queen-size beds and share a bathroom that doubles as the laundry.

The Neighborhood:
Belconnen is an alluring district about 10 kilometres from the Canberra CBD. It’s best known for the beautiful Lake Ginninderra, which is surrounded by sprawling parkland, beaches, walking paths and playgrounds. The town centre spreads out from Westfield Belconnen, which offers a range of Australian retailers. The lake foreshore reveals a collection of waterfront restaurants and the popular Belconnen Arts Centre.

Public transport
The Belconnen Interchange is about 650 metres from the apartment on Cohen Street. It has multiple bus lines running regularly to the city centre and Canberra Airport in between 25 and 40 minutes.

Everything we needed
Great location, plenty of eating options around the area.
Easy check in, 1 of the rooms was quite small but it didn’t affect our stay.
Balcony has a great view.

Heating was great
No parking
Used soap left in bathroom
No bin in kitchen, just a bucket, we went and purchased bin bags
Spare bedroom had jocks and socks under the bed, not cleaned
Bathroom mouldy
Toilet flush got stuck numerous times
Wouldn’t recommend a young family with all the stairs
Sliding door going to balcony would not lock
Communication sent asking about parking and was responded nearly 2 days later

Relax by the lake
This property is in a great location, being close to parks, shops and restaurants. Has a beautiful view overlooking the lake and was very quiet.
On arrival we were disappointed to find out parking wasn’t included and we had difficulty finding the keys.
The apartment was in need of some maintenance, and was lacking basic items such as garbage bins.
It had a broken bathroom draw, broken outdoor furniture and a filthy/broken bbq which couldn’t be used.
When we arrived there was an opened bottle of chocolate milk on the bench and someone’s leather jacket in the wardrobe.
Unfortunately, we feel it was overpriced and we wouldn’t stay there again.

The cleanliness of this property is terrible 😣
The cleanliness of the property was absolutely terrible, I can’t believe they give you instructions on how you should leave the place after your stay but they don’t follow the same. I had to vacuuythe floors with their own vacuum cleaner the day we arrived!
There was terrible noise of someone trying to break into a property in the neighbourhood in the middle of the night - it is a very congested area.
Overall, this is the only place I’ve booked via Stayz that I haven’t enjoyed and will be asking for refund!!
