Nice house, well maintained and lovely view. The only little recommendation: Some sun protection for the kitchen windows and on the terrace may be a good idea, when the the weather is as nice as we could enjoy it.
If you wanna explore the top of the south then this wee gem is a great hub! We had two couples so the seperate sleeping spaces haves us opportunity for privacy yet all be together! Highly recommend

Chris, we're so glad you enjoyed your time in Golden Bay and that Karu o te Kiwi was part of your memories of this special part of NZ!
This home was excellent for our group of 6. Everything as shown in the listing. Lovely view, warm, homely with nice quality linen and special treats and touches by Canada, the host. Some lovely bush walks on the doorstep. We would definitely book this property again.
We stayed for two nights for a wedding in Collingwood. Beautiful house with a stunning view and only 15 minutes from Collingwood. Had everything we needed, even had supplies for small children.
Very comfortable stay and relaxing part of golden bay.
Canada was so easy to deal with and everything with check in and check out was straight forward.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This is an exceptionally special spot. The house was clean, contemporary, warm and comfortable with everything we needed… and the views were amazing! The walks around the property were a surprise and extra magical - it’s well worth the steep climb to the lookout! Exploring Farewell Spit and Wharariki area was a breeze from here. We were blessed with two days of exceptional autumn weather but it would be just as lovely hunkered down in winter or in the heat of summer. Thanks Canada for the opportunity to experience your gorgeous property :-)
