Great little getaway

Cost Cottage was a great vase for exploring the area around San Luis Obispo. We had fun in Solvang and really enjoyed the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. It would have been useful to have an oven- proof dish , but otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. We loved the colour -changing lights in the garden!

Close to town - Atascadero

A well equipped, private cottage central to Atascadero. All the sights and restaurants were conveniently within 5 minutes. Large master bedroom, smaller single bedroom with shared bathroom with shower. No dining room, but tv stands by which to eat by tv. Lots of large windows with views of garden, with blackout curtains too.

Central location

Nice no frills place to hang your hat at night between SLO and Paso. Wouldn’t recommend the second room for and adult under most circumstances but it worked for me. Probably best for small family (adults and one kid) or two involved adults who share the main room.

Disappointing....

Looks like someone lives in this private casita and goes away when it is rented out. The unit is full of personal items. Felt like I was staying at a relative's home, not a vacation rental. Was a bit cluttered. Not your typical VRBO rental.

There was no table inside, just TV trays. We were able to cook some meals while there but it was not convenient for eating. The gas grill was fairly dirty and we decided to not use it. There was a table and chairs outside but they were not clean and the metal chairs had no cushions that we had access to. One of the reasons I chose this place was the pictures of the outdoor sitting area and we decided not to use it. This was a good value compared with other options in the area. The bed in the master room was too soft for our liking.

Close to town and as Advertised

The place was good for what we were looking for. It was close to where we wanted to be and although we didn’t spend much time at the place, it was comfortable and had a nice little yard.

Cozy Indeed!

The Cozy Cottage is perfectly that, a cozy cottage with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is well equipped and supplied as well as clean and tidy - a plus is that every appliance we used worked. Wi-Fi connected easily and gave good signal. Beds are comfortable, with plenty of blankets and linens available. The setting is very pleasant, with trees and bushes providing a bit of privacy. The pathways and garden areas are well kept and it looks like there will be many flowers in a few months (stayed in February). My daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much and are considering making an annual trek to The Cozy Cottage.
