Top Ten Reasons Why We (and others) love this place:

1. Location tops the list. We are approximately 7 miles away or 20 minutes away from all four major ski resorts. I need to mention the location is really strategic for some skiers because often times in the ski season, Alta and Snowbird will get enough snow that they occasionally are forced to close down the road for several hours due to Avalanche control. On these days, we make a right out of the community and ski Solitude or Brighton which is nearly the same distance. You are located conveniently between 4 of Utah's best ski resorts.

2. Don't want to drive the car to the ski resort? It's easy enough to take the Ski shuttle bus which is steps away from the house and cost only a few bucks. The shuttle takes about 20 mins to get up the mountain and drops you off right at the slopes.

3. Private Garage. Remote control access to your own private garage that fits two full size vehicles. It may not seem like a big deal, but when it's snowing and you have already spent several hours in the snow, it's nice to click that button, drive straight in, close the garage door, and walk straight into the dry warmth of the house. It's a bonus not having to trek through the snow and park in a communal garage or on the street.

4. At the end of a powder ski day the only thing that any skier cares about is slipping into a comfy warm bed. The bed configuration is as follows:

Bedroom 1: One king - sleeps two
Bedroom 2: One Queen - sleeps two
Bedroom 3: Two Queens - sleeps up four
Bedroom 4: Four Twins (trundle bed) - sleeps four

House is designed to comfortably sleep 8.

5. Enjoy a glass of wine in front a warm and toasty fire place.

6. Laundry room located inside the house on the 2nd floor. Helpful for families with little ones or longer stays. We have laundry detergent available.

7. Entertain or cook your own gourmet meals in a fully-equipped kitchen. Everything from wine glasses, champagne flutes, coffee mugs for hot cocoa, pots and pans, utensils, tea kettle, tumblers, coffee pot, microwave, slow cooker crock pot, dishes etc...

8. Lots of space and lots of comfort equals good vacation. Enjoy nearly 3000 square feet of vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors. Plenty of room for the children to run around, play, and make lots of noise, especially in the 4th bedroom / recreation area. This home has a lot personal charm and is fully furnished with everything that you will need.

9. Complimentary hi-speed internet

10. Apres-Ski wouldn't be complete with out the ability to soak in a private jacuzzi with friends and family. This is a 5 person jetted hot tub and is located outside at the back of the house. Alternatively, you can take a quiet and relaxing bubble bath in the jacuzzi tub located in the masterbath.

The great thing about vacations is that you get to spend time with the people that matter most doing the things that you enjoy. Great location but...

If you are there to ski, this is a great location as it is right at the bottom of the Canyon. However, the unit needed upgrades, updates and deep clean.

Great place in between the canyons

The house really worked for us. It is clean and has ample space. The location is right between the cottonwood canyons. Quiet neighborhood. Hot tub is a plus. Game room was a bonus. Would definitely stay there again. Au-Co Mai is very responsive and was a great host.

Ski trip

Location to ski resorts was the best part of this property. Not enough towels for everybody when we got there, there was only enough toilet paper for one day, only two dishwasher pods, no propane for the grill, hot tub cover fell apart every time you'd close it, pieces of headrest on hot tub were breaking down and floating throughout the hot tub, residents took forever to warm up to temp, there were like eight eight pans all the same size but not big enough to actually cook for a large group. Location makes up for .oat of the downfalls and that's what gives it a moderate rating

We had a wonderful week o...

We had a wonderful week over the Christmas holiday staying at this condo. We comfortably fit 11 people, everyone had enough room to play, eat, rest, watch tv, etc. The location is ideal for skiing since it is close to 4 major resorts (Alta was our favorite). Would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable place to stay with lots of extras (pool table, dart board, jacuzzi, hot-tub...). And make sure to order Super-Passes from Au-Co ahead of time as these can save you a few bucks on your trip. Hope to make it back out there someday soon!

Location, location, location

We had a very nice, extended stay this winter. The location provides very easy access to all of the Wasatch ski areas, either by bus or car, and groceries and restaurants are close by. There is plenty of room to spread out, although the living room is really only large enough for 5-6 to watch the tv comfortably. The kitchen is well-equipped, with lots of spices, making it easy to eat-in. We were able to fit 2 mid-size SUVs in the garage, but it was tight. This home will be high on our list for a return visit!

Good value property for staying in Cottonwood Heights

I stayed here with five other friends for a ski vacation. The property is located about 20 minutes away from Alta/Snowbird. It was an easy drive to the mountains. The townhouse is nice and well-maintained, and it comfortably slept all of us. There is a property manager who can assist you if you need anything. The cable wasn't working when we arrived and the property manager came the next day to fix it, which was nice. The kitchen worked great, as did the hot tub and outdoor grill. Overall, would stay here again.

GREAT Location

Stayed in Dec 2022. This was a “value” property among the Cottonwood Heights listings and delivered. First the good. The location is tremendous with easy access to both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Best skiing in the world and this property is set up well to get to it. Second, the mixed. The property is pretty dated. While the kitchen is new and well equipped for a rental, a lot of other things could use a refresh. Sort of what I would expect for a value property. Third, the bad. The property wasn’t well cleaned. I brought up the issue, however, and the host made it right in my book, so I consider that good “service,” and have no further concerns.

Close to the slopes, has everything you need. Owner easy to work with.

Unless you are staying at the ski resort, you can't get a place more convenient than this one! Getting to shopping, restaurants and ski shops was very easy. The place itself is fine. It's not top of the line, but you are not paying a top of the line price. There are some cosmetic things that could be fixed, but everything is functional and the kitchen is well-equipped. There wasn't anything that we needed, but couldn't find. We used the hot tub each night and loved it. Also played pool and ping pong, so that was a big plus. Lots of bathrooms, so that's convenient as well. Being able to use the garage was a huge plus as we saw the street parkers scraping the ice off their windshields in the morning. The owner was very easy to work with and she responded quickly to all our inquiries (and there were several). We had expected to bring my sister's boyfriend and dog, but at the last minute they were not able to attend. The owner was great about getting us a refund of the $200 pet fee even though it took some figuring out to get it done through the website. We were very appreciative of her efforts!! We would stay here again.

Charming ski getaway!!

We loved this place. It was super convenient to the slopes and groceries etc. Very nicely furnished especially the kitchen and master bedroom. The kitchen cabinets and under sink area were in need of some TLC, and we would have loved to have had a metal container to use for cleaning out the fireplace but all in all a great spot. The boys especially loved the pool table downstairs and the hot tub was great. Secluded back yard. We had a little trouble with check in - we received an incorrect lock box code, but it was quickly remedied with a phone call. Also had an incorrect WIFI password, but that was also quickly remedied. Plan to cook in if you stay here. There are only a few restaurants in the neighborhood and they are BUSY.

Great location - lots of room

fantastic location for skiing and nice neighborhood. had enough room for 5 adults to spread out-seating in living room good for 5, but if we had more, it would be tight. hot tub was very nice - even had deer come to the hill behind the condo and take a nap while we were in the hot tub. pool table/ping pong table were fun. There was a fairly significant cleaning issue when we arrived, but contacted the owner and he made it right. basement toilet wasn't working and he immediately offered to send someone to fix it, but we declined as there were plenty of bathrooms and during covid, we didn't want any extra people in the house. the garage fit our medium size SUV, but we decided to leave the truck in the driveway! Overall, a comfortable stay and we would stay again.

Great getaway for the family

The property is in a great location providing easy access to ski resorts. The two car garage can fit one car comfortably and there's plenty of parking within 50 yards of the townhouse. The condo is well furnished and welcoming. There's a wood-burning fireplace and lots of activities (ping pong, pool, hot tub, etc.) to enjoy when your not on the slopes or out and about. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cookware, etc. and the beds are in great shape and comfortable. The owners and property manager were responsive and helpful. The living room proved to be a bit cramped when sitting eight adults, nothing that a few pillows on the floor couldn't solve. In short, we had a great time and would whole heartedly stay here again.

Fantastic house in a great location close to Alta/Snowbird, major roads and supermarket

The house is fantastic! The location is great for winter ski trip. It's about 15-20 minutes drive to Alta/Snowbird, 35-40 minutes to Park city/Deer Valley, and about 15-20 minutes to Costco, Chinatown, Chinese supermarket. There is no steep slop inside or outside the community, so it's very driver friendly in winter. The condo is very nice, clean, warm and comfortable. The kitchen has been renovated recently, the electronic stove is very powerful. There is storage space with bench and a lot of hooks next to the garage door, you can put your skis boots, helmets there, it's very convenient. There is a pool table in the basement, and it can be converted to table tennis table. The kids liked it very much. The outdoor hot tub is everybody's favorite. The house has 4 King/Queen beds on the second floor and 2 double beds in the basement. It can park 2 medium size SUV and 1 full size van. The owner is very generous to provide plenty of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, paper towel, toilet paper, trash bags, towels. It's a perfect place for 2 or 3 families to stay. Highly recommended!

The Property and Location Were Great

We really enjoyed staying here. We were surprised when we arrived that the home did not have air conditioning. The evap cooler worked well except for a couple warm days. At night it was fine. Otherwise, the home was great and had everything we needed.

Good place to stay😀

It was a nice place to stay. We really enjoyed it. I would stay there again. There were 9 of us and it would have comfortably slept 10. The only issue was there were no vents for air in the bedrooms so you had to leave all the doors open while sleeping. This wasn’t bad unless you were needing privacy. They supplied several fans to help in this case. I would recommend this place to anyone. The owner and manager were very nice to work with.

Enjoyed the Condo, location was great. Perfect for a large group of people . We stayed for an extended weekend of skiing and was fortunate to get a snowstorm that made for great skiing. Owners were very easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable accommodations and a great location

Our group of 8 stayed for 6 nights. The house was clean and the appliances and hot tub worked fine. There were plenty of hooks and ample bench space in the mudroom to dry out wet ski clothes at end of the day. The location is great, between the entrances of Big and Little Cottonwood. Grocery stores and other essentials are close by. I would definitely stay here again.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! For the best powder conditions in the US, you have go to Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, and Brighton. An easy 9 mile drive. Make a left from the neighborhood, another left up the mountain and VOILA!!! You are ready for a powder play ground.

The house is super spacious, private, quiet, and feels really cozy. While I need my space during down time, it's the perfect house for entertaining and hanging out with friends. Also bought a new hot tub and the basement is perfect for hanging out playing Pool.
