Keep this Gem a Secret!

If there were more than a five star rating possible, I would give this property a hundred star rating! What an amazing place. Tucked into the forested hillside, above beautiful the protected bay one is ini position to see the clouds, the wind on the water, and the sunsets. Neill is the nicest person one could ever meet and made us feel welcome, like family from the start of our stay. The property is gorgeous with a comfortable bed, crisp sheets, thick towels, and great water pressure. In addition the apartment is bright and stylish, the views unbeatable, and the dark sky at night filled with stars makes you never want to say good bye to Bohohill Escape. Thank you for being the highlight of our New Zealand experience - we departed trying to figure out when we could return. You will feel the same.

We love both islands, Waiheke and Great Barrier Island, we both live, work and commute between both the islands. We enjoy traveling and meeting local and international travellers. We also spend a few months a year in Indonesian one of our favourite destination amongst others. Originally from Cape Town South Africa we immigrated to NZ in 1999 and made NZ our home.

Our place on Waiheke Island has a Bali feel to it, subtropical plants and a mature nikau grove protects our privacy and creates a sanctuary near the beach. Bohohill Great Barrier Island is our place to getaway and relax in nature, nestled on a hill above water overlooking tranquil Kaiaraara Bay in Port Fitzroy area, we like our guest to enjoy their stay whether it's Waiheke or GBI and we are available anytime to be of assistance.

Private access to waterfront to all guests during their stay. Only 10 min drive away is Whangapoua beach famous for its waves and expansive white sandy beach with tidal estuary. The location is quite and private with mesmerizing sunsets and water-views.
