Great Private Getaway

Spent the weekend here with my girlfriend and the location was perfect. The property is outside of town so things were definitely quieter which was exactly what we were looking for. Although the house is in a neighborhood, the trees on all sides gives good privacy. The lake was frozen over so we were not able to enjoy all of the amenities that are provided for the summer time but we enjoyed watching some of the neighbors set up for ice fishing. I would say as a word of caution, the road getting to the house was not plowed during the few days that we stayed here. We received around 8-10" of snow and while they were able to plow out the driveway for the house, the road back to the highway remained unplowed which may pose an issue for anyone driving a smaller car.

Nice place

The home is great, clean and comfortable, the only drawback and I am sure that is everywhere in Wisconsin this time of the year and that is the state bird! The mosquitoes were aweful. Hard to enjoy the outdoors but other than that absolutely an enjoyable experience

Clean and well maintained

We stayed here for a Memorial Day weekend getaway. The house is adorable and clean. Although we did not use the kayaks or row boat, or fire pit, we loved that they were available to us. The house is right on the river with a dock and is conveniently located a short driving distance from the Dells and just far enough away to give us the peace and quiet we needed. We also loved that the house and property were dog friendly! We highly recommend this vacation rental.

Great house

We loved staying at Cali's. Its convenient to downtown and all the attractions the Dell's has to offer. We were in town for a baseball tournament at Woodside park and it took less than 20 minutes to get there. Bring your own pilllows as there are only two per queen and one for the twin and one for the trundle. If you plan to pack lunches for a day at the lake or parks etc... you will need all the necessities. Storage containers, foil, baggies etc. There isn't any of those items available in the house. The grill is charcoal, no one left anything for us to use so keep that in mind if you are planning to grill. Overall, we had an amazing stay and if we are ever in The Dell's again, we will definitely book our stay at this house.

Ideal for needs

Close to lake Fawn Lake. Private. Used the kyaks and row boat. House layout was good. Liked on-suite bathroom in master bedroom. Liked screened in all season room at night was cool breezes. Close Dells, just 12 mimutes away. Oveall we all had a great stay.

Our Week in Paradise

Cal's Fawn Lake Haven was amazing. The cottage (home) was spectacular. Beautifully built, well designed, and very comfortable. The Lakeview and access was all that we hoped it would be and more. We were extremely grateful that it was pet friendly. We would love to come back. Great Place!

The home and location were exceptional. The cleaning could have been better. Sheets in all beds had hair on them. Despite this, we would stay again at this property as it was great.

We all very much enjoyed staying at the house.

My parents called to get information on Restaurants to surprise us with a gift card and the person they spoke to was extremely kind. 3 night stay in December 2021

This house was great. I would recommend adding more pictures of the property especially of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything is completely updated and you would not be able to tell by the current selection of pictures that are currently listed. There is a separate laundry room that has plenty of space for shoes, boots etc. The only complaints I would have is that there is a beautiful fireplace in the living room that is not for use (lock on the door). The living room does get chilly even when the thermostat is set at your preferred temperature. It would of been nice to use the fireplace. And the mattresses were not that comfortable. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the place and would visit again.
