River 2C is a beautifully presented 3 bedroom, home with an amazing outlook over the estuary & Glenelg River.
Its excellent location makes the newly renovated pub, kiosk and river less than a 5min walk from the house.
The stunning enclosed gazebo area has amazing river views and makes for an ideal place to cook a BBQ dinner and watch the sunset over the estuary, protected from the elements and any pesky bugs

The house was in perfect order and close to everything we wanted to do just sitting on the porch and overlooking the beautiful glenellg river was a treat i would definitely recomend a stay hee it was awesome thanks to our host Raymond

Spacious & Comfortable Stay in a Lovely Beach Town

Nelson is a lovely beach town, and we had a fantastic stay in this spacious and comfortable house. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, making it a hassle-free and enjoyable experience. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to the beach made it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. As a family with two adults and two teenagers, we all had a wonderful time exploring the area and unwinding in the cozy home. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Nelson!

Beautiful spot, house had everything we needed. Driveway was abit steep to park the boat, so parked boat on front lawn. Very comfortable accommodation 🙂

Clean economy lodging for 2-3 couples

All per expectations. In winter it’s possibly a bit chilly in bedrooms but fire and reverse cycle keep rest of house warm. Walking distance to river and pub.

Just new to booking through an agency. That made it more difficult but next time we will know the process. The house was good but windows need a clean. The gazebo is a great addition but rusted seats need to be ditched. In saying that everything else was great. Very comfortable.

The property is in a good location for exploring with many walks and areas of interest a short distance away. The property is of a very good size that whilst a little dated is well equipped and very clean (apart from the windows). However, the property is 100m to the main trunking road route used by logging trucks throughout the night. It really is noisy despite staying in the bedroom furthest from the main road. It’s such a shame. The property is also exceptionally cold until the heat pump warms up the living area. Unfortunately, the living room to reception area doors are fixed open, making the living room draughty even with the heater on full blast (noisy). The heat just doesn’t extend through to the bathrooms or bedrooms making them most unpleasant to shower or sleep in and no electric blankets. It’s not ideal. Better lighting in the kitchen and living areas is required as the attractive vaulted ceiling mounted lights are just not adequate. Disappointing

Nelson getaway
