Beautiful time for foliage

We enjoyed the house and location and overall the cabin was clean but there were some specific areas of concern with cleanliness.

Disappointed and waste of money

Where do I start? We got there around 8pm after a 4 hr drive. We were about to prepare dinner and saw the dishes were either oily, still had food stains or dusty, property was dusty, bedsheets appeared either dirty or dusty, cobwebs on the wall (and no it wasnt a halloween decor), no dish soap except for 4 washer pods,so we had to make use of the 1/4 of a bottle of handwashing soap and papertowels to wash the dishes since we didn't have time to put those in the washer and wait so we could eat soon enough (we had a 3 yr old in tow).We also washed the sheets and ended up sleeping late bc we had to wait for those to be done. Grill was very dirty and rusty so we ended up wasting money on items we didnt use. Owner told us somebody was going to come by the next day to bring us new soap but that didnt happen. In the end they rectified the situation by telling us to leave the dirty dishes on the day we check out. We had no choice anyways bc there really was no soap to clean those with. I know it's not the owner's fault but they could use a little checking behind the cleaners bc at the end of the day, it's their rental and not the cleaners. Mind you my standards for cleanliness isn't even up there, but please make sure that your renters get their money's worth. Been to several other rentals and this one was a huge let down.

Great Cabin

We rented the cabin for our daughters JMU graduation. The location was great, and the cabin had plenty of room with great amenities. We had Romanos make the celebration dinner which was very good.

Great stay

Everything was clean and there were supplies and appliances that were very convenient for us. My wife was very happy and got to relax in the in this beautiful cabin.
