Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the whole property, including the garage. Please note: the driveway is very steep.

The Neighborhood:
This residence is located in a safe and friendly court.
It is ideal for both the adventurous and those who want to kick back and relax.
All within the immediate area: surfing, windsurfing, SUPing (Stand Up Paddle), diving, bike riding, running paths, skateboarding, fishing and golf. If sitting back and relaxing is more your thing then choose from many of the beautiful surrounding beaches, parklands, cafes, bars, restaurants, spas, shops or designer boutiques to spend your time.

There are great cafes, bars and many restaurants on The Terrace, plus boutiques, clothing, shoes, swimwear, books, homewares and much more.

Ocean Grove has a beautiful coastline for walking, swimming and surfing. Enjoy the glorious walks around the lake, along the riverside trails or the beachfront.

Getting Around:
Our beach house is within easy walking/riding distance to parkland and Blue Waters Lake Reserve. The Groove Café is the local favourite shop to get your morning coffee, yummy lunches and ready meals. More shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets can be found in three distinct shopping areas (The Terrace (main street), Kingston Village or Ocean Grove Marketplace. A double garage and driveway provide off-street parking for two cars, plus parking on the kerb. Please note the driveway is very steep, but there are steps to walk up if you prefer. If parking in front of the garage door, please park to the far right side of the driveway. This enables the neighbours access to sufficient turning room.

Closest train station 25km away (Geelong station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Ocean Grove is 1 hour 25 mins by car from Melbourne.

Other Things to Note:
If parking in front of the garage door, please park to the FAR Right SIDE of the driveway. This enables the neighbours access to sufficient turning room.

We enjoyed our week stay at the property, had a as relaxing time. Great walking trails close by.

Perfect getaway

What a lovely place! Perfect for a weekend getaway and big enough gor a good sized family! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and our small pooches were very spoilt with the fireplace and surrounding beaches. We will definitely have to come back again!

Terrific property close to the river and great little cafe. The house was spotless, well presented and the two living spaces perfect for a family with older children. The view from the lounge window to the Heads was amazing.

The property has amazing views up the Barwon river to the Barwon river bridge. Comfortable, plenty of room and everything you need in the kitchen. Great property.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful and well appointed property. We travelled as a family of 3, but the house can accommodate larger groups. Wonderful lounge areas and views. Would come back to stay again. Pet friendly. The driveway is really steep as described!

Amazing property and view. Quality property, well appointed, clean, and plenty of space for the whole family and pets. Steep driveway may be a challenge, if you dont have a 4WD!Highly recommend this property.

Beachside bliss

We had a lovely restful break from city life staying in this very clean and comfortable home. Everything we needed was available. The views were spectacular and we especially enjoyed watching the storm roll in and descend upon us. Highly recommended

A perfect spot in Ocean Grove

The house is in a great location & perfect for families to hang out and enjoy each other's company and still have plenty of space to do your own thing or just put your feet up. Amenities are all in good condition and very clean. Views are exceptional and the balcony is quite protected from the wind. Beds very comfortable and spacious. A 20 minute walk to beach is handy. We had a fabulous relaxing time and thoroughly recommend 8B Driftwood!

Lovely house on the hill

We stayed as a family over Easter and had a lovely time here. The property was clean and bright. There were two separate living rooms that might be useful if you had small children. The kitchen was well equipped with a large oven and island bench. It is a bit of a walk to the beach but short drive to everything. Would definitely love to stay again.

Great views and well set up

This is a beautiful property and has everything you could wish for. Guests should be aware that the driveway IS as steep as described and may pose a problem for some drivers.
