Kangary is the ultimate secluded country retreat, Nestled in 5 acres of native bushland, this architecturally designed residence offers peace and privacy only 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk from the centre of Daylesford.

Kangary offers 3 generous bedrooms across two buildings, connected by a generous entertaining deck and all-weather roofing. A lower stone paved deck with additional seating and a firepit provides you with ample options to take in the native vistas and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine.

A well appointed kitchen, two bathrooms with luxurious eco friendly amenities, euro laundry and comfortable lounge with open fireplace ensure your stay at Kangary will be so comfortable you may never want to leave. However, if you are feeling adventurous, Tipperary Springs, a connection point to many historic walking tracks, is located just 1km away.

An elevated, heated saltwater spa plunge pool tops off this stunning property, with uninterrupted views of the beautiful native Australian bushland. The only neighbours you will encounter are the inquisitive kangaroos and other native wildlife which frequent the grounds.

This is an immaculately presented property in a lovely bush location 5mins from Daylesford. The amenities are really well presented and there are lots of lovely touches from magazines, candles, Sonos, a fireplace, a good gourmet kitchen. My only advice is don’t book it if you think you’re going to get a 36 degree spa like we did. It was a pretty bizarre and annoying surprise to find for much longed getaway. It needs to be more clearly advertised. For the price it should have a heated spa. We got an unusable cold plunge pool with spa jets and a solar blanket. Apparently we should have known by the description and the cold spell was the problem 😂 As a result we wouldn’t have paid what we did for an unusable spa; it really let down a beautiful property. We ended up going to Hepburn Springs Spa to save the weekend. In fairness if you had a period of warm weather it might be more useable. I hope the owners consider proper heat exchange heating of the spa going forward as it would be an outstanding property if they did. Also the main bedroom is in a different building to the other two bedrooms. We didn’t realise that and would have preferred to be with my daughter. Great house let down by the spa.

We had a great 3 days at this property. The only thing that we had a lot of trouble with the power going off, must be trouble with the power as we had to go to the end of the drive to keep switching it back on.
