We’d love to welcome you to Wood Haven. Nestled in the woods at the base of Ben Lomond, Wood Haven has everything you’ll need for the perfect holiday escape.



Come and enjoy the spectacular views of The Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu. Wood Haven offers the charm of a cosy log burning fireplace with modern facilities in a panorama of natural beauty.



We are close to all the ski fields, a short drive to the Lake Wakatipu and all of the activities Queenstown has to offer.



The Space:

Wood Haven has everything you need for the perfect holiday. Including, 3 spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King bed with ensuite bathroom and private balcony. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds which can be converted to a King bed on request. The modern kitchen is accented by a wood burning fire place (wood, kindling and fire starters provided). Walk out onto the large deck with a cedar hot tub, BBQ and outdoor furniture. The opening plan kitchen, lounge and dining is spacious and comfortable and kept warm by the heat pump. The smart TV is connected to the unlimited WiFi internet. You can park and store your ski gear in the lock up garage.



Guest Access:

Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10am. This may be flexible depending on bookings.

Wood Haven was the first stop in our South Island tour and it was so impressive! It is a beautiful home with a beautiful view! It was very clean, spacious and offered a lot of amenities such as a hot tub and grill (neither of which we used because of our short stay) and had a well-equipped kitchen. It was the first time for me to use a Nespresso machine, and that's now on my birthday list :)Our only drawback was that we didn't have a car - You can take a bus or do a long walk, but we're in our 70's so we "Ubered" to and from town.We'd definitely recommend Wood Haven!!

Great Stay in Queenstown

We stayed nearly a month at Woodhaven in the Fernhill section of Queenstown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the property was well, equipped, clean, and comfortable. The views from Woodhaven were excellent, especially from the upper balcony. We had views of the Remarkable mountains and lake Wakatipu. The location was far enough out of the downtown area to be quiet, and was very convenient when heading towards Glenorchy. Before booking, I was a little concerned that this was a duplex building, and not knowing who would be on the other side. However, that turned out not to be an issue as the people there were not short term renters and were extremely quiet. Overall, we were very pleased with our selection, and had a great time in Queenstown.
