Amazing 2 Weeks

We had an amazing 2 week stay in this beautiful apartment. The apartment was spacious for 4 adults and 2 kids. It was well air-conditioned and the beds were very comfortable. We would highly recommended this property to anyone looking to stay in in a great location in the center of town.

An old-town charmer

You need to be nimble to get to the top floor and patient when it comes to the wiggly door lock. The rest is gravy, in particular the rooftop deck, a location in the middle of architectural beauty with countless cafes and restaurants. If you want old-world charm, you got it in spades.

Central old town art-filled apartment

Comfortable, large apartment decorated with eclectic arts and objets. A treat for the eyes. Right in the middle of the old part of Aix, with markets all around. Great terrace for relaxing with very nice view over the rooftops of Aix. Centuries- old building with atmosphere galore.

Fabulous location in charming building

Incredible old building with fine architectural elements like beams of tree trunks and outside shutters that are operational. Also beautiful artwork. A roof-top deck was a lovely way to end the day. Apartment is a little dark. The 4 flights of stairs are not for everyone. Do not check in on a weekend as no one is around to help. The downstairs foyer is sad with peeling paint.

This apartment is in a lovely neighborhood on a quiet side street. It’s not a soulless, modern place. Rather, it’s old, charming, and filled with sculpture and art. The living room and kitchen are spacious. There are air conditioning units in the living room and bedroom which we used since the weather was unseasonably warm the first few days. Things to know are that there is a winding narrow staircase up to the unit, stairs to one bedroom, and a step up or down to get to the bathroom or bedroom inside, so this is best for guests who are not mobility challenged. The unit has a lovely little rooftop with a table and chairs that has views of the church steeple and other rooftops — so nice!We had a torrential downpour one night and had a challenge getting in touch with management about some water inside, but once we reached them, they were responsive. This is a charming, old world apartment that I would stay in again.

We very much enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of our gite. It was in a wonderful location. We did have alittle trouble getting our bags up the 3 flight of stairs. The roof top garden was perfect for evening wine. We loved this city. Thank you. LaDawn

Fabulous from start to finish!

Honestly, the pictures don’t do this wonderful apartment justice! We have enjoyed every moment of our stay! Yes, the stairs are steep with luggage, but the payoff at the top is worth it (plus all the yummy food you are eating will melt away on uour up and down!). Check-in and communication prior to our viait was wonderful, thorough and easy! The apartment was clean, and, frankly, stunning! The ceilings, floors and art made us feel like we were living in a beautifully curated art musem! The location could not have been better…with the possible exception of the fact that we had a car and took several day trips. Use Parc Rotund or even closer parc dee cardeurs. But the other places outside the central city are ok too! Honestly, I would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return! Enjoy your stay and many thanks to our hosts!

Beautiful but not worth the money

I brought my family here to celebrate my 65 birthday. The apartment was beautiful but the management was very unresponsive. I There were 6 people and they left us 3 towels. It took 3 days of asking over and over to get 3 more. The air conditioning did not work and they never sent someone over to look at it. Even asking every day. It was 85 degrees out The bathrooms were very pretty but moldy. overall not with the money spent.

Good afternoon, First of all, we would like to point out that a craftsman went to the apartment to test the air conditioning on the day of your departure and that his report indicates that the air conditioning works in the apartment. (Craftsman’s report) Then you do not remember the lack of etiquette and disrespect you showed to the delivery of towels that were otherwise requested the day after your arrival at 11:30 pm and therefore delivered to the accommodation on the 3rd day indeed. Charming Flat in a Fantastic Location, But Be Prepared for Some Hiccups

We recently stayed at a lovely flat in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The flat is charming, comfortable, adorned with beautiful artwork, and offers a cozy atmosphere. The terrace was a highlight, providing stunning views—perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The location is unbeatable, right in the old town. We loved exploring local markets, visiting museums, and dining at incredible restaurants (the food was AMAZING!). The convenience of a parking lot just a minute’s walk away was a big plus, especially since we were a group of moms on a well-deserved getaway. The flat is on the 3rd floor, with extra stairs to the 4th, so pack light and be ready for stairs. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was crucial as the flat can get quite hot. The third bedroom also has stairs, so keep that in mind. However, there were a few issues: the flat wasn’t as clean as expected on arrival, and we had some WiFi troubles. Communication with management was challenging at first, but they became helpful after a few exchanges. I provided suggestions to management that I hope they consider. For future guests: clarify details like WiFi, detergents, and cleaning before arrival. Note that only one set of keys is provided, and losing them will cost €150. Despite these hiccups, we had a fantastic time and recommend this flat for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Aix-en-Provence’s beauty and culture.

Beeindruckende Wohnung über den Dächern von Aix

Sehr persönlich und individuell eingerichtete Wohnung in der Altstadt. Sehr sauber. Kommunikation mit der Agentur ausschließlich über WhatsApp, schnelle Reaktion auf alle Anfragen. Bei Anreise mit dem Auto am besten im Parkhaus Bellegarde parken und zu Fuß zur Agentur und zur Wohnung gehen.
